Spirituality and Technology for Self and Socio economic development

If you think overcoming western technology is not good enough for my conclusion of maya been transcended you may have a point. But it's definitely some force to reckon with.
 
Scientists because of constant eulogising of science and technology expect people to worship them whatever they do. It is necessary to call spade a spade and point out what is wrong with science and technology and the scientists. Science and technology are definitely not panacea for people's problems. The mind needs to mature first and technology need be developed by such mature people. If technology is given priority it will keep dumbing the minds of people and the scientists and take them on the path of self destruction.
 
Let's help scientists shake off that complacency and sense of superiority they have. Its high time the truth is pointed out. Spirituality is a huge ocean compared to a drop like progress we have made in science.

Also spirituality is unseen. Don't go by what you see. You may see a single body but beneath it may be a spirituality that can make even nations tremble and bring them down on their knees.

When you are self realized you can win over all of reality.

Adi Sankara probably didn't want to scare others. Just kidding. But think about it Renuka. If you have transcended maya you are one with Brahman. Don't you think so? BTW I am not saying I have completely transcended maya but definitely a huge part of it.
 
Our scriptures and the great Acharyas don't explicitly say everything. Many are implied and subject to Interpretations. We have to make conclusions in a consistent way

If I have transcended Maya and became One with Brahman, I as in Renuka wont exists anymore as to make the claim that I am One with Brahman.
Only Brahman will verily exists.

I am not blaming you Renuka but why this antagonism in general to someone who says he is spiritually well progressed and still progressing? I think this is due to experiences with surfeit of people who alleged to be spiritually advanced but caught in vice acts. I concede that. I also believe in addition to that I am being severly critical of attitude of scientists and pointing out the fledgling status of science and technology and so i am target of attack.

I am not saying I am Brahman but have made substantial progress towards it.

But really I am not overly concerned. Truth will definitely be out.

I merely stated that If I am ONE with Brahman, I wont exists anymore.
 
Yes if one is one with Brahman he doesn't exist anymore. But that should be the goal as it is the most worthy of your time. Having said that in Kali yoga it is necessary to be practicing pragmatism too. A kind of pragmatism that aligns with your worthy objectives. Hard core pragmatism not rooted in deeper reality like what, due to western influence is being practiced now will not get you far.
 
Dear Renuka

Hard core pragmatism does not get you far because you learn your lessons soon. Actually you are not in control but maya which makes you think you are in control. And such is the grip of maya you don't see it till maya hits you hard.
 
Unless you connect with reality you don't make real impact and when you connect with reality you make a positive impact as force properly aligned with harmony is a perfect righteous alignment than can mend even the inveterate.

Which reality are you referring to?
Yours or that of the cosmos, veiled in MAYA?
I thought you were an authority on MAYA.
Decide if there is a reality before you advise others!

Spirituality is about the universal and the timeless. Those who are blinded by the illusion that it is a single person fighting need to understand the above nature of Spirituality. A nation too is a tiny speck. On a lighter note all their technology will be worth for buying only pericham pazham and they will emerge utterly powerless not only against me but against anybody.

I don't harbor grouse or ill feelings towards anybody. My mind is imperturbable an excellent indication of spiritual progress and also power and even perfection. But unfortunately my body uniquely is exceptionally spiritual that cannot brook adharma. That's how and when things can get nasty.
 
Why wouldnt you want to be called a tiny speck? Arent you really tiny? A nation compared to the grandeur of the cosmos. Accept reality and you will grow.
 
Some of the charlatans aver belief in spirituality but actually they dont have real belief. Their main objective is to exercise control and keep others as puppets. Now, technology is being used as a main tool towards that end. With AI comes immense danger of misuse of technology. We need to be wary of it and put the necessary restraints to not let it be used for devious purposes. With divine intervention and help we can do it and keep these charlatans at bay.
