Ref to post # 25.
Sangom Sir,
As you are aware all tantric literature is not vama marga. There is dakshina marga and madhyama marga also. Brahma Yamala classified the literature thus based on the guna theory. Keeping in view sensibilities of this forum's readership, i can omit all content from vama marga tantricism; although the sacred union defining the very symbolism of Shiva and Shakti is very highly esoteric deserving of the transcendental literature it encompasses. Am aware we humans having defined ourselves with physical boundaries may not be appreciative of that. So will give it a skip.
Also you are aware the literature is classified into vaidika agama and avaidika agama. Some such as Lakul agama of Pashupata sect is classified into both vaidika as well as avaidika agama. The very classification of the texts (why they were classified so by commentators) can get interesting.
However, am aware even dakshina marga and madhyama marga literature will elicit strong responses here. Moderator intervention will be frequently required. I will need to sort out what to post and what not to post (but along the way, this may get hindersome also). However, if permitted, i would like to start a separate thread on Introduction to Tantricism; which will of course cover something on buddhist tantras, jain tantras and shramana literature.
Am very open to this topic. I thank KRS sir for the encouragement. Either will wait for a few more posts to see how the responses pan out or will start a new thread in 2-3 days. Today and tomorrow am a bit busy.
