Temples for Childless Couples
In continuation to my two earlier posts on temples for childless couples for childbirth, I am providing below two temples for childless couples that are in city or town so that travel and accommodation are not a problem.

Reason for Childlessness
The Naga dosham or the Sarpa dosham is the main reason for married couples to remain childless. Therefore the childless couples trying to conceive are searching for pariharam for Naga dosham. Irrespective of whether the childless couple is willing to accept for such concepts of doshams, the effect is the same, namely, the problems of being childless. People who believe-in God and astrology will visit temples for childless couples. Those childless couples not believing astrology will be depending on medical treatments along. The point to be noted here is that the medical treatment for childless couples is only the necessary condition and visiting temples and doing the pariharam for childless couples is the sufficient condition for childbirth. Sri Santhana Venugopala Swamy Temple in Mysore is one of the oldest temples for childless couples, where the childless couples pray for childbirth. The special puja to the Santhana Sudharshana is performed inside this particular temple for childless couples where one can find the Sarpa stone. Next is the most important temple where the childless couples trying to conceive must visit. The name of the temple is the Sri Panchamuga Lakshmi Narasimhar Sannadhi, located in North Madras, which is also the Divyadesam 109. The presiding deity is Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar with five faces which are respectively given by

1. Garudar
2. Varaahar
3. Narasimhar
4. Hayagreevar
5. Anjaneyar or Hanumaan.

The pariharam for childless couples provided in Divyadesam 109 is generally not available in any other temples.
