Gokula Dhundh Brindaban dhundho, Barsane lag ghum ke aai, Tan mun dhan sub waar ke Hasrat, Mathura nagar chali dhuni ramai.

The sepoys, a generic term used for native Indian soldiers of the Bengal Army, had their own list of grievances against the Company administration, mainly caused by the ethnic gulf between the European officers and their Indian troops. The British had issued new gunpowder cartridges that were widely believed to be greased with cow or pig fat, which insulted both Hindus and Muslims.

Overtime, they started the leather industries in India and promoted leather products in the name of fashion/status, and we were lured into. These leather industries cause heavy pollution (stinky smell, air pollutants!) and destroy our water sources. Ranipet, near vellore is an example for that! A sad reality! And habits die hard with that!
