The former Union Minister, A. Raja, Kanimozhi and Suresh Kalmadi have been made members of the Parliamentary Standing Committees on Energy, Home Affairs and External Affairs respectively.

Raja, who was arrested in the 2G scam case on February 2 last year, is on bail since May 15 this year.
Kalmadi, an accused in the Commonwealth Games scam case, spent about nine months in jail before being released on bail on January 19 this year.

DMK MP Kanimozhi, also an accused in some cases related to the 2G spectrum allocation, has been nominated to the Standing Committee on Home Affairs.

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi has been made a member of the Standing Committee on Finance, headed by BJP leader Yashwant Sinha. In the reconstitution of various committees, Tiruchi Siva of the DMK has been made Chairman of the Standing Committee on Industry, while Brajesh Pathak of the BSP has been made Chairman of the Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare.

What a travesty of truth & justice in this country...This is atrocious...something like a cold blooded murder...Is the Government so naive to think that the masses are gullible and it can trample peoples sentiments and can play with the Supreme court of India...Or is it that the public memory is very short lived


If you have a case against you then you cannot apply for a job in the Government...How come we have 2 norms (one for the politicians and the other for the common man)
 
No one can get rid of corruption which is in the minds of people. If not these, then some others tomorrow. There are always in action.

Raja, Kanomozhi & Kalmady all they are fraud peoples. we need to kick the congress govt from india, so that only india will develop and alive.
 
Maybe these people have been taken back as a token of gratitude! Then who got all those money; nobody? Or the money dissolved itself like asafoetida in an ocean. Loyalty always pays?

Dear Mr.Vgane Sir, who then would be D'Artagnan? Karunanidhi? LOL... Recently i read what is the difference between Karunanidhi & Einstein?

Einstein said that everything is relative and Karunanidhi says "relative is everything!!!!!
What these politicians argue is that till no court convicts them they are NOT guilty. And in the 65 years of independence not even one Chor Politician has been convicted by our Courts!!! Only people can throw them out of power and then after 5 years they find oh the earlier Chor was better , the current is a bigger chor so once again the earlier one comes back...

Dear Mr.Prasad Good Morning.
What you say is correct. But what can the people also do. Over the years they have done everything possible with their Votes. They bring DMK, Then try out ADMK, as DMK was corrupt.. in the next five years find that ADMK is more corrupt, they are left with no choice except going back to the biggest opposition. They cannot waste their votes, they cannot vote for smaller parties who can never make it to power unless they are supported by a bigger party. They have even tried out coalation, and all have resulted in NULL & void.

What can they do?? No body wants to be fooled again and again!!By punishing one party by keeping him away from power for which he is hungry people do throw out parties and thinking the earlier punishment would make him to rule better this time people are made to realise their folly only after some time when scandal after scandal comes out in the open..

Democracy has survived the assault for the past 65 years. India is such a huge country that except political parties no one else can rule it.. Military is too small to handle this jaggernaut... We are waiting for the next elections and a party which fields maximum members showing the country that they can rule on their own without the help of smaller corrupt regional parties, will surely win. Hope is there and it is moving the country.

If you analyse the conviction rates in corruption cases, it is pretty low...Most of the big ticket scams accused go scot free while those who bear the brunt are the small ticket scams nd that too only middle & lower level officials are convicted

We should have a mechanism by which big ticket corruption cases are handled by fast track court & appeal also by fast track court (otherwise by the time someone files appeal in highcourt & then supreme court the case would be meandering & most of the witnesses would have either expired or changed their stance and public interest would have waned)

The one case of political corruption recorded is of Bangaru Laxman & for Rs 1 lac...no comparison to the 2 G scam money or the coal scam colossal loss

What all you said above is the ground reality about the Indian Politicians and Helpless, Disappointed, Clueless and fed up Indian Citizens, you being on the ground.


Remaining closer to the ground reality in India matters a lot to understand what Indian Democracy is, what Indian politics is, who are the Indian Politicians and who the Indian citizens are, no mater in which geographical location an Indian is dwelling. Needless to say, to know what is the plight of the citizens, dwelling in India.

The corrupted political and administration systems & strategies are helping the criminal/fraud politicians to keep surviving in some or the other political portfolio fetching unimaginable personal benefits and successfully could convert a good, moral and responsible politician into an active player as a looter, in association with determinedly corrupted politicians.

I wish, a great level of revolution under the lead of honest and effective leader/representative should emerge in its full strength and successfully revamp the Indian Political and administrative systems for better.

since there are very experienced in corruption ,the government in power want to utilise their expertise so that there will not be any technical snag in doing corruption .they may pump more fund for election

it is absolutely true that our option is limited . it is like giving best actor,best story in cinama and best officer,best station etc .in govt. office . since the awards are constituted ,some undeserving person get that awards .like wise ,the party which is misfit for rule is being elected.

நீதி தவறா அரசு இருந்திருக்குமேயானால் எப்போதோ கருணாநிதியின் அரசியல் வாழ்வு அஸ்தமித்து இருக்கும்.....

அவர் நேரம் மாநில ,மத்திய அரசுகளில் இவரை போலவே உள்ளவர்கள் ஆட்சியில் இருப்பதால் அவர் சொர்க்கபுரியில் வாழ்ந்து வந்தார்....

தான் நிறைவான வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்து கொண்டு இருப்பதாகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியான குடும்பத்தோடு இருப்பதாகவும் வெளிப்படையாக சொன்னார்....
