THE DATE OF MAHA BHARATHA WAR – KINDLY CLARIFY WITH PROOF

The date of MAHABHARATHA WAR as per many historians and anthropologists are utterly confusing. I am of the opinion that the war was not possible before 2000 BC. I am sure that everyone will agree with me that the war was between cousins born to GANDHARI and KUNTI who legitimately married DHRUTHARASHTRA AND PANDU who were Aryans. Since Aryans migrated to India somewhere in 2000 &1500 BC various eminent Historians give the year as :

Even one Great Jyothishi said the place from where BHAGAVAT GITA was preached to ARJUNA is not JYOTISAR which is five KMs. West of BRAHMA SAROVAR tank but from the place where now the SARVASHARA MAHADEVA temple is situated. He quotes as internal evidence “THE SONG CELESTIAL” by Sir EDWIN ARNOLD.
Will any of the reader clarify the exact date of KUKHETHRA WAR CALLED MAHABHARATHA WAR ?

Dear sir,

If you are looking for a date and time of the Battle of Kurushetra to fit into the Aryan Invasion theory to declare the Kauravas and Pandavas as Aryans...what about Lord Rama then?

Wasnt he born is Treta Yuga long before the so called Aryan Invasion Theory?

So if you feel Kauravas and Pandavas were Aryan..what do you consider Lord Rama?

Aryan or Non Aryan?

That is why the Aryan invasion theory does not make sense.

The word Arya itself in the Bhagavad Geeta means Noble one and not any specific race.

Dear Shri Radhakrishnan,

I believe that the Mahabhatatha War was just poetic imagination and not an actual, historical event. During the period BJP was in power at the centre under the Prime Ministership of Shri A.B. Vajpayee, there were great efforts to push forward their "hindutva" pov. As part of this grand plan, many attempts were made to convince the populace that the Mahabharatha war, Krishna, dwaraka etc., were historical and so on. It is found in Mahabharatha itself (Book 11 (Stri Parva), Chapter 26, Verses 9 &10 that —

9 “दशायुतानाम अयुतं सहस्राणि च विंशतिः
कॊट्यः षष्टिश च षट चैव ये ऽसमिन राजमृधे हताः
10 अलक्ष्याणां तु वीराणां सहस्राणि चतुर्दश
दश चान्यानि राजेन्द्र शतं षष्टिश च पञ्च च”

9 ‘dasayutanam ayutam sahasrani ca vimsatih
kotyah sastis ca sat caiva ye smin rajamrdhe hatah
10 alaksyanam tu viranam sahasrani caturdasa
dasa canyani rajendra satam sastis ca panca ca’

Yudhishthira answered,
‘One billion 660 million and 20,000 men have fallen in this battle. Of the heroes that have escaped, the number is 240,165.’

I do not think archaeologists have found the skeletal remains of such a huge size and number anywhere in India unless, of course, we take the vast coal reserves of Raniganj, Jharia etc., to be these skeletons turned into coal. But that will call the bluff about Kurukshetra.

I therefore think it is better not to search for historicity in our two epics Ramayana and Mahabharatha and treat them more as products of human's fertile imagination.
