The magic of spiritual energy

To call oneself a skeptic is respectable and fashionable. Healthy skepticism is fine. But there is no such thing as that now. I believe vested interests have systematically destroyed the finer thinking among people and so what is allowed and encouraged is only twisted and perverted thinking. Yes the torch bearers of values talk very nice words but do their thoughts support them ? Actually outward nicety is also becoming less and less fashionable. You can bare your teeth and attack with little consequences if you are on the right side of the wrong.
Sravna,
I feel spirituality is about understanding and accepting that no human is the clone of the other in terms of their mindset.

Many a times people focus on their views.
Let me give you an example.
I know a person who is on weekly blood transfusion at a very old age and willing to go through it because he wants to live.

Another person I know told me that she prefers to die and not let so many different peoples blood flow through her veins as its "unclean"

Ok..both are spiritual people..one is viewing the blood as a blessing but the other is seeing it as unclean.

The one who needs the blood to survive sees it as a blessing..the one who doesnt need the blood sees it as unclean.

Do you get what I mean?
Our perception is shaped by our needs.

You might be viewing life through different lenses hence you find other views as more worldly.

The one whose needs are worldy do not align with spiritual views.

Its just that..even spirituality itself is a different shade of desire.

We cant shape everyone to be like us..we as humans have to accept that everyone differs.

Spirituality is about being a seer..one who sees.
What does a seer see?
He sees diversity..does diversity trouble his mind?
No.

Dear Renuka

No spiritual person will say science is wrong. He is wise enough to see the truth and accept it. But the ones who don't see the other side are the scientists. Some of our own biased forum members are testimony to that. It is they who want to prevail over what they see as a competitor to their knowledge system. They say a number of reasons the main ones being spirituality is not evidence based and personal attacks on spiritual people's character. Both don't stand the scrutiny of logic.

The truth is we are willing to embrace but they are not willing to accept.

All the scientists have to do is revisit their philosophy and extend the scope of science. Is not constant review and corrections at the core of science?

Renuka,

Though Kali yuga is known for evil, it is one of pervasiveness that is the problem. Unlike the other yugas where there is one truly towering evil asura and others being ok, Kali yuga does not have such towering villain figures, the closest being Hitler. But even Hitler is just a mosquito when compared to asuras such as tarakasura , mahishasura etc. If 1 % of people are corrupt in satya yuga it is 99 % in kali yuga. Thats the real problem. The problem is not one
of depth or might of evil.

Whether it is the good or the evil, what matters is the ability to sustain. Typically evil at least in modern times is associated with torture. Inflicting physical damage to others is only a small aspect of evil but the larger issue is can you survive for long this way? Most likely not if you do not have self control. Surprisingly self control matters to evil too if it is to sustain.

I dont think its accurate to compare Hitler with the Asuras of the past.
The Asuras were not cowards to kill civilians like what Hitler did.
Asuras fought battles.

Renuka,

The villains of Kali yuga are not stand alone villains. They require a gang and access to powerful people. Unlike the mighty Tarakasura and Mahishasura who could overwhelm singlehandedly almost all of divinity.

Renuka,

Karma is logical just as everything in nature is. But it is the finest woven logic. We need to be presented with innumerable and varied experiences and apply our mind to understand the logic. I think when we understand karma we know the truths about reality. It is at moksha we understand it.

At moksha there isnt karma anymore though one might still be engaged in action.

Karma comes as least expected for the wicked because they are so sure that they can't be harmed and think they are in control of things. The good can always see it coming because they know the wicked are actually controlled by Maya and are sitting ducks for the retribution.
