[h=1]The next Nexus may have gesture-controls built into the fingerprint scanner[/h] August 4, 2016 Kishore Ganesh
Android Police reports that the next Nexus phones may have a fingerprint scanner that won’t just scan fingerprints, but may also recognize gestures.
For instance, if you swipe down on the scanner, the notification tray may expand, and that’s just one of the many possibilities. Swiping right or left to change the song is also another possibility.
The images obtained by Android Police may be pointing to the two new Nexus phones rumored to be around the corner, and since there isn’t much innovation left in the Android space, little additions such as this may be the only way left for manufacturers to differentiate.
The two new Nexus phones are rumored to be announced and launched on October 4th.
