1. ஒரு பையன் முட்டை கூடைகளுடன் மிதிவண்டியில் சென்றான்.கல் தடுக்கி மிதிவண்டியுடன் விழுந்துவிட்டான்.முட்டைகள் அணைத்தும் உடைந்துவிட்டன. கூட்டம் கூடி விட்டது.வழக்கம்போல் இலவச உபதேசங்கள்.: பாத்து போக கூடாதா? " " என்னடா... கவனம் இல்லாம சைக்கிள் ஓட்டுற?" அப்போது ஒரு பெரியவர் அங்கு வந்தார்.
அடடா...ஒரு சின்ன பையன் இப்படி விழுந்து விட்டானே!! அவனது முதலாளிக்கு இவன்தானே பதில் சொல்லணும்? எதோ என்னால் முடிந்த உதவி என என ஒரு பத்து ரூபாயை குடுத்தார். அதோடு " தம்பி
இங்கே இருப்பவர்கள் நல்ல மனிதர்கள். உபதேசம் மட்டுமில்ல ஆளுக்கு கொஞ்சம் பணமும் தருவார்கள். வாங்கிகொள்' என்றார். மக்களும் இவரது செய்கை பேச்சை பார்த்து பணம் தந்தார்கள்.
முட்டை உடைந்ததைவிட அதிக பணம் சேர்ந்து விட்டது.பையனுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சி. அனைவரும் கலைது சென்று விட்டனர். அப்போது ஒருவர் அந்த பையனிடம் " தம்பி, அந்த பெரியவர் இல்லேன்னா உன் முதலாளிகிட்டே என்ன பாடு படுவயோ? " என்றார்.
பையன் சிரித்துக்கொண்டே சொன்னான். " அந்த பெரியவர்தான் சார் என் முதலாளி"
2 .பிசினஸ் தந்திரம்
பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் பழ வியாபாரம் செய்யும் முதியவர் ஒருவர், அந்தப் பேருந்தில் பழக் கூடையுடன் ஏறினார். 'ஐந்து பழங்கள் பத்து ரூபாய்!' என்று கூவி, பழங்களை விற்க முயன்றார். எவரும் பழம் வாங்க முன்வரவில்லை. சுமக்க முடியாமல் சுமந்தபடி முதியவர் கீழே இறங்கியதும், இளைஞன் ஒருவன் பேருந்தில் ஏறினான். 'ஆறு பழங்கள் பத்து ரூபாய்!' என்று கூவினான். அவனுக்கு நல்ல விற்பனை!
மற்றொரு பேருந்தில் ஏறிய முதியவர் அங்கும், 'ஐந்து பழங்கள் பத்து ரூபாய்!' என்று விற்க முயன்றார். பலன் இல்லாமல் போகவே, கீழே இறங்கி விட்டார். அடுத்து, 'ஆறு பழங்கள் பத்து ரூபாய்' என்று கூவியபடி அந்தப் பேருந்தில் ஏறிய இளைஞன், ஏகத்துக்கு விற்பனை செய்தான்!
மிகப் பெரிய கம்பெனியின் விற்பனை ஆலோசகரான ஒருவர் இந்தக் காட்சியை பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார். முதியவரை அருகில் அழைத்தவர், ''அந்த இளைஞனின் சாமர்த்தியம் உங்களிடம் இல்லையே! அவனுக்குப் போட்டியாக நீங்களும் ஆறு பழம் பத்து ரூபாய் என்று விற்றால்தானே உங்களுக்கு விற்பனை ஆகும். அதிகக் கொள்முதல் மூலம் குறைந்த விலைக்கு பழங்களை வாங்கி, லாபத்தைக் குறைத்து அதிக விற்பனை செய்யப் பழகுங்கள் தாத்தா!'' என்று தனது ஆலோசனைகளை அள்ளி விட்டார்.
முதியவர் சிரித்தபடி, ''போய்யா... அவன் என் மகன். இந்தப் பழமும் அவனதுதான். 'ஆறு பழம் பத்து ரூபாய்'னு விற்றால்... சட்டுன்னு வாங்குவதற்கு, நம்ம சனத்துக்கு மனசு வராது. அதனால் நான், 'ஐந்து பத்து ரூபாய்'னு கூவிகிட்டுப் போவேன். அப்புறமா, 'ஆறு பழம் பத்து ரூபாய்'னு அவன் வந்து சொன்னதும்... 'அடடே லாபமா இருக்கே'னு சனங்க சட்டுன்னு வாங்கிடுவாங்க.
அவன்தான்யா நிசமான வியாபாரி. சனங்களோட மனசை மாத்தறதுக்குத்தான் என்னை முன்னாடி அனுப்புறான்!'' என்றார் முதியவர்.
3. பிஸினெஸ் ரகசியம்
சித், ஹாரி என்ற சகோதரர்கள் துணிக்கடை வைத்திருந்தனர். கடைக்கு வரும் வாடிக்கையாளர்களிடம் தனக்கு காது சரியாயகேட்காது என்று கூறி உரக்கப் பேசச் சொல்லுவார் சித். அது கப்ஸா, அவருக்கு பாம்புச் செவி. நன்றாகவே கேட்கும்!
கடைக்கு வரும் வாடிக்கையாளர் தேடிப்பிடித்து ஒரு ட்ரெஸ் எடுத்து அதன் விலையை சித்திடம் கேட்பார். சித் கடைக்கு பின்னால் துணி தைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் ஹாரியிடம் ‘இந்த ட்ரெஸ் என்னப்பா விலை’ என்று கத்துவார். ஹாரி அங்கிருந்து ‘நாற்பத்தி இரண்டு டாலர்’ என்பார். சித் உடனே ‘எவ்வளோ’ என்று மீண்டும் கேட்பார். ‘நாற்பத்திரண்டு டாலர் டா செவிட்டு முண்டமே’ என்று ஹாரி பதிலுக்கு கத்துவார். சித் கஸ்டமரிடம் திரும்பி ‘இருபத்திரண்டு டாலர்’ என்பார். கஸ்டமரும் செவிட்டு காதிற்கு மனதிற்குள் நன்றி கூறி டக்கென்று பணத்தை கொடுத்துவிட்டு துணியோடு எஸ்கேப் ஆவார்!
நாற்பத்தி இரண்டு என்று கேட்ட மனதிற்கு இருப்பத்திரண்டு என்பது மிக சின்னதாய் தெரிகிறது. உடனேயே வாங்கவும் தோன்றுகிறது. இக்கதையில் ஒரு ட்விஸ்ட் உண்டு. அந்த துணியின் உண்மையான மதிப்பு பதினைந்து டாலர்தான்!

India is one of the most diverse countries in the world and therefore all generalisations about Indian culture should be treated with caution. Try to research each client thoroughly before entering into any negotiations. Is it a traditional, family-run business or a more modern hi-tech operation working with western business methodology?
Hence this works only in India ... as long as we never remain alert .... sympathising and empathising is different, though
