Dear Ravi,
You talk of "jalra" and groupism but you yourself have been guilty of that so many times. When one of your favourite posters (i can be give names if forced dont worry!) post every single post you click like, also when people you are not into get blasted by someone, you also click like. The utter irony or should it hypocrisy is refreshing! :)

Also you attack Prasad Sir about coloured glasses with such venom. Then you say neither were you bitter nor aggressive. Well its hilarious because you do sound aggressive. Maybe its your own coloured glasses you need to check. I know you've got loads of likes to your posts and I may be attacked by your very many fans, but I'm being honest and I wouldn't bother really but after the recent incidents of bullying, I prefer not to be a silent spectator any longer.

PS: Hey if you can call Brahin Renu's best friend for sticking up for her, then I am more than entitled to call those "like clickers" to your posts your fans.

Dear Amala,

I could not agree more.I also was wondering why there seems to be selective amnesia and short lived memory of late?
People seemed to be forgetting that they are equally guilty of the crime they accuse others of.

Dear Renu, excuse me if you felt offended. My post to Brahin was in general. I can understand that it may have bothered you because in this case you are the effected party and Brahin called your opponent as Venom spitting snake. BUT, I said all in general that is applicable to all of us at any time. It has nothing to exclusively highlight you as Brahin's friend.

Dear Ravi,

I am not offended. In fact I only felt a bit sad for snakes cos they should have never be equated with humans cos they only attack when they face danger or not sure of the surrounding.

I also understand that your good intention but I apologize to all reptiles of the world today.

Dear members,

I did request everyone to stop posting about that incident but still it is going on and on since there is a saying that goes since "you can beat 'em..join 'em"!LOL

Just kidding..Please end this.

Dear Brahin,

I understand that you too have a right to voice your opinion and I appreciate that gesture too.

But I feel this whole "fight" is dragging on too long.

If I remember well VR Ji is afraid of images of snakes and reptiles so try not to talk about snakes and reptiles here at least in this thread cos I do not want her feeling scared and bad too.

Some more there is a risk talking about snakes cos when snakes are angry they can curse and no one wants a snakes curse..it's supposed to be real potent as the venom of Takshak.

Further more snakes do not really harm human beings for no reason at all and I thought it was not fair to the reptile world for you to drag in a snake to compare.

I know you have some compassion so please think of the plight of snakes too.

I hope you kindly stop replying any opponent here.

It is not worth it too.

Thank you

Spanish Lesson even Bill Gates should learn !

A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish,
unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.

'House' for instance, is feminine: 'la casa.'
'Pencil,' however, is masculine: 'el lapiz.'

A student asked, 'What gender is 'computer'?'

Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups,
male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether
'computer' should be a masculine or a feminine noun..

Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.

The men's group decided that 'computer' should definitely be of the feminine gender ('la computadora'), because:

1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;

2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;

3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval; and

4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending
half your paycheck on accessories for it.

The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine ('el computador'), because:

1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;

2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;

3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem; and

4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model..

The women won. . . !!

Howzzat!!!

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious as to just how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about

it. It looks so ordinary and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong

with it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if

you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!

I do not think this is a great feat. But the following ONE is!

Laudable Lipogram!

Books in which certain letters of the English alphabets are omitted deliberately are called Lipograms. Writing such a book is difficult by itself. But imagine writing a novel, without the use of the letter “e”– the most used alphabet in English!

But the American author Ernest Vincent Wright has performed this miraculous task. He had written 300 pages long novel “Gadsby” containing more than 50,000 words, without using the vowel “e” even once!

Wright had taped down the key with “e” on it, so that it would be impossible to use it. He chose his words carefully and succeeded in writing a novel, in which words seem to flow freely and naturally and are not noticeably forced or strained!

It took him 165 days to write this unique book. Not a single word of the text contains the letter “e”! However the strain of writing such a book was too much for him. He died on the very day of the publication of his book!

Gadsby has become highly prized by the collectors of rare books. Today a copy can be sold for more than 1000 U.S Dollars!

Wright’s willful wrestling with words was not wasted after all!

The Amazing Hair Dryer

Not long ago a friend took her ten-year-old boy to my house looking for my
wife, saying that her child had hiccups all day long. The child was very
uncomfortable and unable to eat at all.

After she checked, my wife said
there was a muscle spasm in his diaphragm. Without hesitation, she took out
a blow dryer, turned on the power and started blowing at the boy's stomach.

About 10 minutes later, the boy burped and fell relieved. We were surprised
that this thing can do the trick. But my wife just smiled.

A few days later, I had a stiff neck when I woke up in the morning. I could
hardly turn my head. I recalled my stiff neck problem was treated a few
times by acupuncture and cupping when I was younger. I asked my wife for the
similar treatment. She said there weren't any needles at home nor any
suitable small jars for cupping. She just took out a hair dryer. I couldn't
help laughing. Again? This thing can cure stiff neck too? Amazing!

She blew on my shoulders and my neck for about 15 minutes. My neck was
really loosened up. I could turn my head now. Later in the evening, she
repeated that on me once more. The pain in my neck was significantly
reduced. I crowned her the "queen of blow drying".

She explained that this was inspired by the method people used in the old
days. In hospitals, with all the modern equipments we have, doctors do not
need blow dryers. Back in the old days, in rural villages especially,
doctors were poorly equipped with medical supplies. So they came up with
other means to treat patients with common pains.

Suddenly I realized this is the thermal effect on pains with the heat
generated by a blow dryer. Modern physiotherapy equipment such as electric,
laser, thermal, ultrasound and others can easily generate heat for effective
treatment. They are, of course, more powerful than a blow dryer. However,
when they are not available, using a blow dryer to generate heat will also
work, temporarily at least, on common pains such as back pain, muscle spasm,
stiff neck, leg cramps, etc. It is easily accessible and easy to operate as
long as there is electricity.

The blow dryer is really amazing. Try it. Hope it works for you too.
