The labourer’s eyes have turned yellow with jaundice -- indicative of an advanced stage of gall bladder cancer. Yadav, just like the village head did, has lived all along in Madhepura district, 40 km from Ganga’s course, little knowing the river, along with Brahmaputra, is somehow responsible for the high incidence of gall bladder cancer in North and North-East India.

 [h=3]DU girl abducted, murdered by boyfriend[/h] New Delhi, Feb. 7 (ANI): The charred body of a 20-year-old student of Delhi University's Laxmi Bai College has been found from the residence of her boyfriend in Rajpura Gurmandi area here. Arzoo was abducted and murdered by her boyfriend Naveen Khatri and his family on February 2 - two days before his marriage to another girl on February 4 - alleged the victim's kin. The Model Town Police has arrested Khatri in this connection.

The Deonar dumping ground, which was ablaze for days starting January 28, has been in operation since 1927. The Mulund landfill, which the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has promised to consider closing down — though nearly 2,600 tonnes get dumped here daily — has been functional since 1968. Kanjurmarg, operational since 2003, is spread over 141 hectares and is the only one of Mumbai's three dumps where mountains of garbage do not stand 10 metres tall.

Uday Prathap Singh, a resident of Jayamahal in East Bengaluru, has been identified as the kingpin of the racket. Preliminary investigations had revealed that the accused Uday Prathap Singh had sent over 30 children, all of them less than 10 years old, to the USA, police claimed.

The IRCTC is now all geared up to provide 12,000 varieties of tea, taking in note the customers' tastes and preferences. IIT graduates Nitin Saluja and Raghav Verma has found the tea cafe chain Chayoos with the theme of 'Experiments with Chai'.
