Woman’s death at CST retiring room: No poisonous substance in viscera samples

THE RAILWAY police’s probe into the mysterious death of a 28-year-old woman, the wife of an Army lance naik, inside the recently fumigated retiring room of Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), is likely to be called off with forensic test reports finding no poisonous substance in the viscera samples of the deceased. The Government Railway Police’s (GRP’s) only theory on the probable cause of Nazia Khatun’s death on April 23 was that she had inhaled pesticides, left from the pest control fumigation done a few days earlier in the waiting room. While GRP was banking on the forensic reports to prove that she had indeed inhaled poisonous substances, the report provides no such headway.

Why do people HAVE to hate one another? :whoo:

Why can't they love their fellowmen??? :frusty:

A grim reality

Masunda Kitada Oliver, who was beaten to death in the capital following an altercation, is not the first victim of Indian racism. The savagery that Oliver faced at the hands of a few Indians has stirred diplomats from the African nations to anguished action, and had caused them to consider boycotting Africa Day. Given the deep connections which India has had with several African nations, it has been foolhardy of the government to imagine that the issue of racism would go away if it was ignored with sufficient obstinacy.

[h=3]Bollywood bigwigs not so keen on box office clash[/h] With one of the biggest clashes of the year between "Sultan" and "Raees" averted, it seems more Bollywood films are trying to avoid the situations of more than one movie releasing on the same day. Ever since news broke that "Raees" and "Sultan" will release during Eid this year, all eyes were set on the "clash of the titans", as neither of the parties seemed to back off and were consistent in their stand to have a clash. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees", however, was pushed to January 26, 2017, avoiding a release with the Salman Khan-starrer. The makers of "Raees" cited "appropriate showcasing" of a film of "such magnitude" for the push, but the move comes right after SRK's last release "Dilwale" underperformed at the box office as it clashed with "Bajirao Mastani" last year.
