One of my neighbors is a lissome lady - almost my age.

She would be very active in the temple helping whenever and wherever possible.

The big "C" struck her on the side of her neck two months ago!
She has had 2 or 3 sessions of Chemotherapy till now.
She has become unrecognizable already - though she tries to remain cheerful.

I am reminded of another Lady doctor friend who suddenly developed C and succumbed to it.

I will always remember what she told me almost envying me with many health issues, "It is better to get a larger number of small health complaints like you than one big problem!"

The complaints of other people ALWAYS APPEAR SMALL ! Right???

    Trump urges 'full sentence' for his ex-lawyer Cohen in Russia probe

    President Donald Trump on Monday called for a "full and complete" sentence for his former lawyer Michael Cohen, accusing him of lying about Trump's business dealings with Russia during the 2016 presidential campaign to get reduced jail time. Cohen, who is cooperating with a federal probe into whether Trump's campaign worked with Russia to sway the election, is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 12 after pleading guilty to tax evasion, making false statements to a bank, campaign finance violations, and lying to Congress. In a court filing last week, Cohen said he had pursued a proposed Trump Organization real estate project in Moscow with Russian government officials well into the presidential campaign, with Trump's knowledge.
 
I was startled to find an adult lizard lying upside down near a door. It had not got squashed or had severed tail. It was full, flat on it back and completely motionless.

I could not help wondering what if it has managed to fall inside the food being cooked - when we just turn the head away for a millisecond - to grab a lid!

So the stove is lit ONLY everything is kept ready including the lida for the vessels.

    42 wedding guests ill in another mass food poisoning case in Singapore

    Four guests at a wedding lunch banquet on Sunday (2 December) at the Grand Ballroom of Mandarin Orchard Singapore were hospitalised, in another case of mass outbreak of gastroenteritis in Singapore. The guests were among 42 who were reported to have developed symptoms of gastroenteritis - inflammation of the stomach and intestines which causes vomiting and diarrhoea - after consuming food during the banquet. The Ministry of Health (MOH), National Environment Agency (NEA) and Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) are jointly investigating the outbreak.

    After CIA briefing, senators lay blame on Saudi crown prince

    Breaking with President Donald Trump, senators leaving a briefing with CIA Director Gina Haspel on Tuesday said they are even more convinced that Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman was involved in the death of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who demanded the briefing with Haspel, said there is "zero chance" the crown prince wasn't involved in Khashoggi's death.
