Dear Sis,

Since you don't read many threads, here is a copy-paste for you!

When Sri. Morarji declared to this world about his own 'drug', my Sis V R mam was the one who gave the name

as Morar'gin'. I have written once about this in our forum. So Kunjuppu Sir's credit - redirected to my dear Sis!

Why senior citizens, no one in their right mind will consider men and women as equal unless parameters and attributes for comparison are defined. Let each be better in his/her field than equal in all fields.

Yes! But not many consider woman as equals!

Of course, I talk about senior citizens!!

Dear Sir,

I don't talk about the work the men and women do! It is said 'avar avar vElai avar avarkku eLidhu!'

Most of the senior citizens (whom I have come across) don't treat the wife with respect. So sad!!

At 73, C. Aravindhavalli’s zest for life is infectious. She has just finished her PhD, and is all set to celebrate it with her grandchildren who are in their twenties.

AND they make sure it is always expressed
in the public in the most conspicuous manner. :whoo:

AGE and Infirmities do not deter a lady from realizing her life's dream! :clap2:

Are there similar examples in men - for whom age is not JUST a number??? :noidea:

Men and women are different.
They are made differently.
They think differently.
They work differently.
They compliment each other.
They are incomplete without each other.
The problem starts when each of them
wants to become the jockey of the family.

#40e. The bet

Vishnu visited Kailash one day. Siva and Uma were playing a game of dice. Vishnu was made the judge. The bet laid was that the loser must give away all the ornaments to the winner.

Uma won the game but Vishnu told a lie that Siva had won the game. Uma got terribly enraged by this utter lie and uttered a terrible curse to Vishnu.

“You behaved like a blind man and gave a wrong judgement. May you become a blind python and live on earth!”. Siva was moved with pity and told Vishnu, “When Vinayaka wins over Gajamukha asuran in the battle, he will remove the curse laid on you and you will regain your original form”

The blind python was waiting patiently for the arrival of Vinayaka. After subduing Gajamukha asuran Vinayaka came to the place where the python was waiting for his grace. He removed the curse and Vishnu got back his original form.

A python NEVER goes in search of food.
It just gobbles up whatever comes its way.

So a blind python - which cannot see what comes near it -
might have gone hungry often and for long periods.

Was this the basis of the old adage given above???
