Dear VR ji,

I had a strange dream last night where I was in a Golden temple which had a huge long mirror as its altar.

People come there to pray facing the mirror.

There was no deity or idol in that temple.

I wonder if there is such a temple in the world where we pray facing a mirror and all we see is ourselves.

Dear Renu,
I am sure we can google search for such temple if it really exists!
To me it occurs that looking in to the mirror and praying will fit in very well with the mahaavaakayaas "Aham Brahmaasmi", "Tat tvam asi" etc
When the God resides with us why should we chase Him/Her/It all over the world spending money and getting caught in stampedes???

I Google searched and found out that a temple of mirrors exist in Thailand.Its a Buddhist temple and made fully from mirrors..but I have no idea if the altar too is just mirrors.

But they have some other images / moorthis also
in the altar along with those mirrors.
It is really fascinating that you dream of temples
and that too unknown ones!!! :cool:

Yes... it can.
The volcanic eruptions at two opposite directions
have left me unable to think or concentrate!

Dear VR ji,

I get unusual dreams!

Once when I was aged some 22 and still in college..I had a dream that I was walking to class and I could see Lord Vishnu in the sky and then He directed Garuda to go get me!

Then Garuda came swooping down and used His claws and picked me up by my hair at the top of my head and took me up God knows to where cos my dream stopped there.

The dream was so realistic that I woke up having pain at my head where the claws of Garuda in my dream had held me.


Well may be I went to Vaikunta!LOL

The gova fruits displayed are golden in color, shining as if greased and polished but what we are handed over in the sealed bags with Brahma's knots are raw, tasteless, wither without ripening and also sickening!!! :sick:

I am glad the Garuda returned you safely to the earth and us. :hail:
Dreams can be very realistic - causing intense pain, joy, fear and terror.
I learned that during violent and disturbing dreams our B.P may shoot up to 250!!! Scary isn't it?? I shudder to think of the effect of 213/113 on me!
It is good that we would be lying on the bed when we have dreams.
Our safety is not guaranteed if we were in standing or sitting position.
 
We got a lovely dark red vairaoosi chinnaalampatti sari with parrot green border and a dhoti & angavasthram set as the prsadam for performing Sita Raama Kalyaana urchavam.

It was too showy by American standard and who wears saris there anyway?
So My D.I.L presented it to me. I have worn it three times in the past three years and every time I bacame suddenly and violently sick for little or no valid reasons.

Are such prasaadams supposed to kept in the house and never worn by us
or all these three incidents mere coincidences??? :noidea:
 
I know it is not corrrect but yet I can feel a growing intolerance in me towards people who talk too loud, talk too much, talk too much trivia and comment on the others unnecessarily.
Half the number of statements merely make me wish to retory "SO WHAT?"
I just control myself since I know it is wanton provocation.
God give me infivite patience and forbearance!
 
Again today is the power cut day - 9 A.M to 6 P.M.!
I call it as the Endurance Test day!
The other ladies catch up with the past month's gossip
since they think they can't do anything else without electricity
except talking in the varandas, staircase landings and other open spaces!
