சரீரம், சம்சாரம்



மாறுவது மனித சரீரமும், சம்சாரமும்;
மாறாமல் என்றும் இருப்பது இறை ஒன்றே!
எத்தனை பருவங்கள்; எத்தனை உருவங்கள்!
எத்தனை ஆசைகள்; எத்தனை திட்டங்கள்!

நான்கு கால் பிராணிபோல் தவழும் குழவி;
நன்றாகத் திகழும் அழகிய வாலிபம்;
ஊன்று கோலுடன் மூன்று கால் முதுமை;
ஊதினாலே விழுந்துவிடும் வயோதிகம்!

விளையாட்டுப் பிள்ளையின் பருவம்;
விளை நிலமாக உள்ளத்தை ஆக்கும்
பள்ளிப் பருவம், கல்லூரி, தொடர்ந்து
பணியில் பணம் பண்ணும் பருவம்!

திருமணப் பருவம்; பெற்றோர் ஆகித்
திரும்பிப் பார்க்கும் முன், பிள்ளைகளே
திருமணத்துக்கு தயாராக இருப்பார்!
திரும்பவும் பெறுவோம் பேரன், பேத்திகள்!

கடல் அலைகள் ஓய்ந்தாலும் ஓயலாம்;
கண நேரமும் ஓயாது சம்சார அலைகள்!
கணத்துக்கு கணம் மாறிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்
கரை காணாக் கடலே இந்த சம்சாரம்!

சம்சார சாகரத்தைக் கடந்து சென்று,
சாயுஜ்யம் என்பதை அடைவது எப்படி?
மாயையின் சக்தியை ஒரு மனிதனால்
மாலவன் உதவி இன்றி அடக்க முடியாது!

கடலைக் கடக்க உதவும் படகாக மாறிக்
கடவுளின் திருநாமமே நமக்கு உதவும்.
விடாமல் பற்றிக்கொண்டே இருந்தால்
விடிவு காலம் வரும்; இது சத்தியம்!

மாறும் சரீரத்தையும், சம்சாரத்தையும்,
மனத்தில் எண்ணிக் கவலை கொள்ளோம்!
தேறும் வழியைத் தேடிக் கண்டுகொண்டு
தேவன் திருவடிகளைப் பற்றிடுவோம்!

வாழ்க வளமுடன்,
 விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.

SAREERAM AND SAMSAARAM.

Sareeram and samsaaram are the two things that keep changing continuously. They keep changing every moment of our lives. How many different stages are there in a human life! How much a person’s appearance changes with age! How many plans / projects / desires / pursuits / aims / ambitions are there in a human life!

The tiny baby crawls on all the four limb like an animal. The youth has a finely tuned body with the best mobility. The old age is bent under the weight of the day-to-day-life and the ripe old age needs some support in order to be able to stand up!

The small child spends all its time in play. The youth spends it in getting educated and then in earning a livelihood. Then the youths get married, get children and spend their lives in bringing up their children and getting them married.

The cycle goes on and on. The waves in the ocean of samsaara never cease even for a second! How then can a Jeevaatmaa come out of this endless wave motion and reach the opposite bank safely?

Crossing the Maya and the Samsaaraa are not within the power of any man / woman! Only if God wills it to happen, it will happen! Only God can make us cross the endless ocean of samsaaraa.

The small boat which can brave the troubled waters of samsaaraa and take us across safely is the Nama Japam of the God. It looks so small and a fragile compared to the ocean to be crossed.

But have faith, catch hold of the lotus feet of your favorite God and keep chanting his name – if you really want to jump out of the endless cycle of birth and death. God and His name never fail the one who trusts in them.
 
காயம், வெங்காயம்!


உரிக்கும் போது உள்ளே ஒரு ரகசியம்
உள்ளது போலத் தோன்றும்; ஆனால்
உரித்த பின் நம் முகத்தில் வழியும்,
ஊர் முழுகிவிடும் அளவுக்கு அசடு!

வெங்காயமும் நம் காயமும் பல வித
வேறுபாடுகள் கொண்டவை அல்ல!
ஒற்றுமைகளே மிக அதிகம் அன்றி
வேற்றுமைகள் அல்ல என அறிவீர்!

ஒன்றாய் மறைந்து நிற்கும் நம் ஆத்மா;
இரண்டாய் இருக்கும் அறிவும், மனதும்;
மூன்றாய் இருக்கும் நமது சரீரங்கள்;
பௌதிக, காரண, சூக்ஷ்ம சரீரங்கள்!

ஐந்தாய் இருக்கும் பஞ்ச பிராணன்கள்;
ஆறு ஆக இருக்கும் அறிவுத் திறன்கள்;
ஏழு ஆக இருக்கும் சப்த தாதுக்கள்;
ரத்தம், மஜ்ஜை, மாமிசம் முதலியன.

பத்து ஆக இருக்கும் இந்த்ரியங்கள்;
கால், கை, வாய், மல ஜல துவாரங்கள்,
கண், நாசி, நாவு, செவி, தோல் எனவும்
கர்ம, ஞான இந்த்ரியங்கள் விளங்கும்.

“இது அல்ல, இதுஅல்ல” என்று கூறியபடி,
இவற்றை ஒன்று ஒன்றாக விலக்கினால்;
உரித்த வெங்காயத்தில் உள்ள உண்மைபோல்
உள்ளே ஒளிந்திருக்கும் ஆத்மா வெளிப்படும்!

ஆத்மாவும், ஜடமும் கலந்த காயத்தை,
அன்னப் பறவை போலப் பிரிக்கக் கற்று,
ஆத்மாவை நன்றாக உணர்ந்திடுவோம்;
ஜடத்தை மொத்தமாக விலக்கிடுவோம்.

வாழ்க வளமுடன்,
 விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.

AN ONION AND THE HUMAN BODY.

An onion seems to hold a sacred secret in its layers. But as we remove the layers one after another, we look foolish when there is nothing hidden in the womb of the onion. The onion resembles the human body in many respects.

There is an Atman in a human body; there are two faculties which act ceaselessly called the Mind and the Intellect. There are three sareerams viz the Sthoola sareeram, the Sookshma sareeram and the Kaarana sareeram.

There are five Pranaasa; six senses and seven dhaathus in a human body. There ten Indriyaasa – five gnaana indriyaas and five karma Indriyaas. When we discard them one by one saying ,”Not this! Not this!” we discover the formess Atman hidden inside the body very much simlar to the secret hidden within an onion.

The Body, Mind, Intellect and Emotions in a human body consists of both Chetana and Achetana. If we can seperate the Sat from the Asat just a swan separates milk from water, we can cling to the Sat and neglect the Asat.
 
இறைவன் படைப்பாளி

இறைவன் என்னும் படைப்பாளி, என்றும்
இனியவற்றையே உலகில் படைத்திடுவான்.
ஐந்தறிவுள்ள உயிர்கள் அனைத்தும், அவன்
தந்த உடலை நிறைவுடன் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளும்.

ஆறறிவு பெற்ற மனிதர்கள் மட்டும் தான்,
அவன் படைப்பிலே குறை காண்கின்றனர் .
உருவை மாற்றி அமைக்கும் முயற்சிகளில், தம்
பொருளையும் மன நிறைவையும், இழக்கின்றனர்!

நல்ல உருவமும், நல்ல உறுப்புகளும் பெற்று,
நன்றாகவே காட்சி அளித்திட்ட போதிலும்;
நானிலத்தில் தனித் தன்மையுடன் திகழ,
நான்கு திசைகளில் ஓடி ஓடித் தேடிடுவார்!

முகத்தின் அமைப்பையே மாற்றிவிட்டு,
அகத்தில் பெரு மகிழ்ச்சி கொள்ளலாமா?
தொங்கும் தோலை இறுக்கித் தைத்து,
தோற்றத்தைப் பொலிவுறச் செய்யலாமா?

கூரிய மூக்கைச் சிறியதாய் ஆக்கலாமா?
பெரியதாகச் சிறிய கண்களை ஆக்கலாமா?
மற்ற பல உறுப்புக்களையும் தம் உடலில்
மாற்றி மாற்றி அமைத்துக் கொள்ளலாமா?

பாலைவனத் தலையிலும் நன்றாகப்
பயிர் பண்ணலாமா அடர்ந்த கூந்தலை?
பணம் படுத்தும் பாடுகளே இவைகள்!
பண்பு மேம்படப் படும் பாடுகள் அல்ல!

தம்மிடம் இல்லாதவையே அழகியவை என
நம்பிடும் இவர்கள் செல்வமும் விரயமே!
இப்படியே எண்ணங்கள் இருக்கும் போது,
எப்படியும் மன நிறைவும் வருவதில்லையே!

இறைவனை விடவும் சிறியவர்கள் நாம்;
இறையினும் சிறந்த படைப்பாளிகளா?
இந்த உண்மையை நன்கு உணர்ந்தால்,
இந்த வாழ்க்கை மிக இனிமையாகுமே!

வாழ்க வளமுடன்,
 விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.
 
GOD THE CREATOR.
All the living creatures accept the body given by God without any complexes-except Mankind.
Men and women are never satisfied with their natural assets and always wish to improve their looks.
He/she spends a lot of time and money in these vain pursuits and loses their peace of mind also in addition to money.
People want to reshape their face, nose, lips, eyes, have face-lifts and try to grow hair on bald heads.
They believe that beauty is what they don’t have naturally and that they can buy it with money.

Can a man EVER become a better creator than God?

Flowers VS Fruits!!! :fencing:

It is cool that Indians bring fruits while visiting a convalescing person

rather than the bunches of flowers as in the Western countries.

We can't eat flowers however fresh and tasty.... can we??? :rolleyes:

invariably one or both ends of food passage!

A sprain in the lower back may occur as a bonus!!! "ouchie"

Mulla's philosophy was based on the Principle of Iru KodugaL
( The theory of two parallel lines)

How can we make a long line appear small???

Elementary dear friends...by drawing a longer line near it.

Now the originally long line will appear small!

Mulla worked on the same principle.

He would render the already difficult life more difficult

and then the original difficulty will pale in comparion.
He was a quite a phychologist I bet!!! :clap2:
 
Takling of 'being born in that family' here is a juicy story.

The wife visited the local zoo with her friends.

After she retuned home, the husband teased her by asking,

"Did you meet all your relatives and ancestors there?" :rolleyes:

The wife was quick witted and replied with a smile,

"Sure dear! All me relatives by marriage and their ancestors too!" :boxing:

Moral:

Wit is a double edged sword. If he can use it well... she can use it better!!! :)
 
Friends in NEED are friends INDEED.

Nothing can be more true than this.

People promise stars and moon.

People say they are at our service.

BUT when we approach them for a favor

with the most far fetched reasons they try

to explain why they can't do us the favor. :(
 
Elderly men want to continue to keep every other person under their thumbs-
the same as they used to when they were very young and strong.

When this does not happen , they blow a fuse in the top.
They are certainly aged but have not got matured!

In Nature all the matured fruits, nuts and vegetables get detached both from outside and from the inside.

But humans do not get detached thus.Thats is what causes most of the old age problems!!! :(
 
I had a neighbor - a business magnet in a ripe old age.

He had three intelligent sons but called them 'Bewakoofs' and treated them like small kids.

He would not train them in the family business nor would he entrsut them with any important tasks.

He left on business to the capital city of a neighboring state by night bus and left the world in the middle of his bus journey.

The three sons had to go and bring home his body after the customary post martem.

Their business has become better and spread wider after the old was forced to entrust it to his sons unwillingly.

The aim of every parent must be to train the children and make them independent in life as early as possible.
 
Mtityunjaya maha mantra teaches the need to be freed from bondage!

The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra reads:

The simple meaning in an outline.

OM. We worship the Three-eyed Lord who is fragrant and who nourishes and nurtures all beings. As the ripened cucumber (with the intervention of the gardener) is freed from its bondage (to the creeper), may he liberate us from death for the sake of immortality.[SUP]
