I too noticed that the colour bands, points, achievements and awards have totally vanished!

Surely someone who could not tolerate seeing them might be behind this magic!

When a member was constantly giving me

ஊரையே தன் ஆட்சிக்குள் கொண்ட
ஊர்ப் பெரியவரிடம் பணி புரிந்தான்,

அன்பும், அடக்கமும் கொண்டிருந்த
தன்மையுள்ள வேலையாள் ஒருவன்.

நன்கு விளைந்த இலந்தைப் பழங்கள்,
நான்கு, ஐந்து கிடைத்திடவே, அதைத்

தானே உண்ணாமல் துணியில் சுற்றித்
தன் எஜமானனிடம் எடுத்துச் சென்றான்.

வாயில் சிந்தும் சிறு புன்னகையுடனும்,
கையில் ஒரு பொதியுடனும் கண்டதும்,

அருகில் அழைத்து விசாரித்தவரிடம்,
பெருமையுடன் அளித்தான் பழங்களை.

விரும்பி உண்ணும் எஜமானைப் போலவே
விளங்குபவர் நம் இறைவனும் அறிவீர்!

எளியவருக்கு அவன் மிகவும் எளியவன்!
வலியவருக்கு அவன் மிகவும் வலியவன்!

கள்ளம் இல்லா உள்ளமே அவனுக்கு
வெள்ளையான வெண்ணையாகும்!

வாழ்க வளமுடன்,

More useful ideas for streamlining the forum!

DO we really need the location and joining date???

The location can be any one of the three worlds!

Actually it can be any one OF the 14 worlds!

As for joining date... how does it matter

since the majority remain as eternal new members with

NOT one post to their credit even after a decade of joining the film!

The total number of posts means NOTHING - since majority are copy pasted from elsewhere!!!

So everything can be safely removed - may be except the (latest???) username of the member!

My little grand daughter has done it again! :clap2:

She has won a prize in the story writing competition for the second consecutive year! :first:

She will collect her cash award 100$ today and use it up for buying more books for her library!!!

How nice it is to have one's talent discovered at a very early age and

be directed and motivated in the right direction to develop it!

Her specialty is writing fantastic fantasy stories! :cool:

The rise and fall of a Tree!

The diseased tree was felled yesterday. I have no idea of how many years it took to grow to the size it was. BUT right in front of our eyes it became a heap of saw dust and a few thick log in about 20 minutes.

The smaller branches were cut off with a thin chainsaw attached to a long handle. The bigger branches were cut off with a bigger chain saw. The main trunk was cut off with a dangerously bigger chainsaw.

The branches were fed into some hidden gadget on a trailer and saw dust flew out from the other end!!!
Raking the twigs, cleanning the place and blowing off the dust all were over in another 10 minutes!!!

Where did the tree go in less than half an hour???

P.S

Now we realize how much shade, screening effect and coolness it was giving us - despite being diseased, drying, dying and without a single leaf in any of its branches!

Moral:

Making takes eons and Breaking takes moments... be it a building/ tree / work of art/ anything of value!!
 
It takes a mother twenty years to 'make a man' of her son.

It takes twenty minutes for a girl to make a monkey out of him!

Couples amen sure they take their children along with them - wherever they go! :grouphug:

I used to consider it a waste of time for the entire family...... until

I recently learned to my surprise and utter shock that

it is the ONLY way to escape form hate crimes and aggressive e attacks by strangers!

Thank God people still have some sensitive feelings for the innocent children here! :hail:

தினமும் தவறாமல் இறைவனுக்குத்
திருஅமுது செய்விக்கச் சொன்னார்.

சிறுவன் திருஅமுதை வைத்துவிட்டு,
பொறுமையாக அங்கே காத்திருந்தான்.

இறைவன் இறங்கி வரவுமில்லை!
இறைவன் அதை உண்ணவுமில்லை!

எத்தனை நேரம் இருந்தாலும்,
எதுவுமே அங்கு நடக்கவில்லை.

“தந்தையார் அளித்தால் உண்கின்றீர்;
நான் செய்த பிழை என்ன கூறும்” என

விம்மி விம்மி அவன் அழுது புரளவே,
நிம்மதி இழந்தார் நம் இறைவனும்

மனித உருவில் இறங்கி வந்தார்!
மனிதக் குழந்தைக்காக உண்டார்.

“பிரசாதம் எங்கே?” என வீட்டார் கேட்க,
“பிரசாதம் இறைவன் புசித்துவிட்டார்!”

சிறுவனுக்கு இரங்கிய இறை பெரிதா?
இறை பக்தியால் சிறுவன் பெரியவனா?

விடையினை நீங்களே கூறுங்கள்!
விடை எனக்கு எட்டவேயில்லை!

When in a tight spot…!

One may want to try his luck
To stand apart from the ruck,

Assume the spirit of a puck,
And perform stunts like a buck!

By thus trying to run amok,
He invariably become a yuck,

And has to, his long tail tuck
And learn to dive like a duck

Lest he becomes a tall truck
Stuck tight in the rainy muck.
