Think or sink!

Now the chain snatchers have sworn to Ahimsa or non violence.

No more dragging of the old ladies by the chain on their neck

on the rough roads while speeding on a motorbike-

until something gives in ---either the chain or her neck. :fear:

Now these men chat to the old ladies, infuse confidence in them

by caring for their well being, warn them about the wicked people

who might snatch off their gold chains by threatening with or using a knife.

They help the ladies remove their chains and pack them in a piece of paper

right in front of their eyes. The old ladies are overwhelmed for having met

such a good Samaritan, go home and open the packet to find...

not their chain but a piece of worthless stone!

How do you like it???

Even Buddha himself could not have been kinder towards the old ladies.

Waste not... want not!!

A lovely printed polycot sari got scratched by the sharp point of ball pen.

Repairing it was difficult. Wearing it the other way still reveled the damage.

So what happened to it.???

it has become a lovely three piece salwar suit

good enough to be worn for outings / shopping and traveling.

The best part is no one will realize that it is a salwar suit

unless they notice the legs below the hemline of the top called kameez !!!

So more sac-thick-saris will undergo the conversion-

whether or not they have been scratched!!!

I am joining the brave and bold brigade of

naughty loottee paattis in salwar suits.
