I went to the funeral of my friend's Son-in-law. Yes, it was a sad occasion to see a 52-year-old die of a drug overdose. I did not personally know the deceased person we will call him Mr. XTZ. Mr. XYZ and Ms. XYZ were married for 20 years and have a son who is 12 years old. XYZ's were having marital problems and were living separately. Mr. & Mrs. were both of Indian origin and were successful lawyers. Mr. XYZ was abusing alcohol and Ms. XYZ had a boyfriend. Their parents and friends could not help them. When Ms. XYZ's process server went to serve some financial documents to Mr. XYZ, he found Mr. XYZ dead.

We went to the funeral and heard so much praise for Mr. XYZ, and tears were shed for him by everybody there. But I feel we failed as a society to save them and give proper guidance.

Its a sad situation.
Its actually hard to give guidance to anyone who isnt receptive.

Right now, I hope the mother takes good care of her 12 year son.

May the deceased person be in peace.
Sometimes some situations just cant be rectified.
It could even be some severe Karmic debt between the husband and wife which none of us really know why this had to happen.

Anyway, may be friends and relatives could look into the general well being of the 12 year old boy.
Surely he must be devastated.

The 12 year boy is only pathetic as it is told even Ms.XYZ also got a boy friend. However in other land even children may come out as they are exposed of this situation unlike India.

(You may have to correct XTZ as it is misleading)
