I get that a lot of you want to stay connected to our culture and traditions, and I’m with you. I’m an Iyer myself. But why does this website keep focusing on caste as if that’s all that matters? It’s the same old caste-related questions over and over, like that’s the most important thing about someone. Honestly, it’s our values, our actions, and who we are as individuals that should define us, not the caste we were born into.
And seriously, why is there so much anger over intercaste marriages? If someone is still visiting the temple every weekend, praying to God, celebrating festivals, and staying true to their culture, then what’s the issue? They’re still part of the tradition. We shouldn’t be dividing ourselves over something so outdated. If we’re all here to celebrate our culture and build a community, let’s focus on what unites us instead of the petty divisions that are doing more harm than good. This site should be about celebrating who we are, not keeping us stuck in the past...
