This particular piece is an adaptation of 'Neela Megha Shareera' krithi in Raga Mohanam by Sri Narayana Teertha, and a Thillana in Raga Kunthalavarali by M Balamuralikrishna. IndianRaga Fellow Harsha Nagarajan spent a few days with the young musicians to engage in discussion and debate about various musical concepts.

When was the last time you journeyed through Bollywood in 5 minutes? Shweta Subram takes you into a musical time machine for a journey tracing popular Bollywood songs from classical evergreen melodies to modern hits. Shweta's acapella rendition of some of the most memorable songs of Bollywood and champion beatboxer Prashant Nair's beats make this music video a super fun nostalgic expedition. Due to time limitation, only a handful of songs could be selected. This idea was inspired from Pentatonix's evolution of music.
 
Thanks to my sister who alerted me to this Raaga Pasupathipriya. It seems that HarikEsanallur Muthiah Bhagavatar may be the one who conceived this raaga and composed a song Saravanabhava (only song?) in this raaga
