vAdham and vivAdham
I tried to figure out the difference between these two. Google translation says:
vAdham = argument or arthritis
vivAdham = debate
A person can have an argument with another and 'that' could be sane or insane.
Two or more persons can debate over an issue and 'that' could be civil or uncivil.
Why is the same word used for argument and arthritis? Is it because people tend
to argue more when they are affected with arthritis, a normal problem of oldies?
P.S: There is another vAdham which is vidhaNdAvAdham and we know what!
