VEL MAARAL MAHA MANTRAM (COLLATED)

Dear brothers and sisters,

Attached above is the Vel Maaral Maha Mantram composed by Sri Sacchithanantha Vallimalia Swamigal. As there are multiple versions available, research was done to collate the proper formulation of the Vel Maaral Maha Mantram, and as well as the pre-requisite hymns before chanting it. This PDF contains:

0) Mental prayer to Arunagirinathar and Sri Sacchinathanantha Vallimalai Swamigal for their efforts in giving us this Maha Mantram
1) Vel, Mayil, and Mayuram Praise (Chant this 6 times first)
2) Vinayagar Prayer (Chant this once)
3) Subramanyar Praise (Chant this once)
4) Mayil's Praise (Chant this once)
3) Para-Shakti's Praise: Devendra Sanga Vaguppu, rich with mantra shakti to boost the efficacy of Vel Maaral (Chant this once)
4) Vel Maaral Maha Mantram (All the repetitions of phrases have been placed accordingly, and numbered - follow as it is)
5) Meaning and significance of Vel Maaral.

Thank you,
SkandaDasan

Wonderful work. Very fine compilation and I have not seen such an arranged version anywhere. My version has limitations of twelve times chanting of திருத்தணியில் and not 20 times. Thank you so much for sharing.

as per instructions the repeating verse has to be chanted 108 times throughout. This count was taken into account when formulating the Maha Mantra. God bless
