If according to Quantum Mechanics a subatomic particle can exists in more than one place at a given time..so going by that God as in Brahman is beyond time, space, beyond description and subtler than the most subatomic therefore it is of no surprise that God is all pervading!

"Vishnu" means all pervading..there must be a reason for this name..not some random name..Quantum Mechanics could have been the reason why the terminology "Vishnu" is used.

So may be if mankind were to understand Quantum Mechanics better we might actually get a "glimpse" of what we call God?

What say you?

Renuka,

If there is no variation of energy in something it would seem to appear everywhere. For example I would say mental energy would appear everywhere in space and spiritual energy everywhere in space and time. Entities such as subatomic particles are physical particles i.,e matter and hence have some energy variation within them. Since in my view space is connected at deeper levels if one probes at that level the variations in energy of subatomic particles would not seem to be there. Subatomic particles are the easiest to verify and as the entities become complex energy systems it becomes more difficult to verify

So Renuka, Vishnu is deep inside and quantum mechanics has just scratched the surface. Still a long way to go

Alternately if something is connected enough like one's mind can be, it can probe deep into space and time and find out the deeper truths.

Dear Sravna,

I differ in the definition of Energy.

I feel there is only Energy and we call it Spiritual or Mental Energy when we personalize it.

Now coming to your line that Vishnu is deep inside..is He only deep inside?Narayana Upanishad does say "Urdhvasca(upper) Narayanah,Adhasca(lower) Narayana,Antarbahisca(inner and outer) Narayanah"..

So why do we always want to feel God is beyond our reach and hidden somewhere when technically even His name means All Prevading..why do we want to deny that God could actually be more easily accessible than thought?

Dear Renuka,

See the last line of my post which I added which is one can reach God if one's mind is open and tries to reach God.

Ok got that.

But just a doubt here..it has been sometime when we seem to read again and again that one has to dwell into deeper truth to know about God..some feel we have to focus externally and some feel we have to focus internally..but what if there is actually No Direction at all?

God is all pervading..so when something is all around us..inside..outside..above..below..literally everywhere why cant the focus be on a directionless experience as in beyond direction?

When we start to search inside or outside..we could be actually missing out..may be its just Being that is all that needed.

Remember the story where Lord Brahma after being created by Lord Vishnu was searching all over where He came from and went into the Lotus stem only to not find anything?

Only when He focused His mind He saw Vishnu.

So technically is there actually a direction? Focusing the mind is just a point..a point in the real sense has no direction.

So why are we expected to go around a wild goose chase searching for something that is justs needs a point of focus?

Yes Renuka you are right. There just has to be focus. I just wanted to differentiate between two approaches, one where one can use one's mind to see God and the other where one seeks external evidence.

More than seeing god, it is god's consciousness which is residing inside we have to expand by helping others irrespective of caste, creed and boundaries. We have to understand that there is only one eternal relationship (i.e., only with God)., All our experiences are illusory or passing nature. To Realize god's consciousness, we have to transcend our bodily comforts, mind, intellectual and ego experiences and to meditate on truth, we have to dwelve deep within transcending our three gunas and have a detached mind with nirguna (i.e., going above our all consciousness and three gunas)...this is just like outer space (without any air)..Everthing in this transitory world is a blockage including our own attachments to our mind, intellect and ego. This is very difficult to practice but easy to say (May be difficult to comprehend).
