Water takes a back seat to the Jalli kattu

Tamilians are now more vocal on the Jallikattu to be accorded to its original status. Supreme courts stay is currently preventing the Jallikattu being held.

It is unfortunate, that the kind of emotions and determination shown for return of this sport is not extended to the cauvery water that was not released by Karnataka government in response to the supreme court s orders.

Basic need for life - water also requires this kind of attention & public movement for the non-compliance,of the supreme court s order by a state government.

Come May - this summer is going to be unbearable in Tamilnadu/chennai with water scarcity and the city of chennai having lost its green cover to the extent of 30% in the recent cyclone vardah...

Points to ponder - even supreme courts orders need not be complied! ? As citizens there need to be a response....
