In our 'thinnai palli' (our class was in the thinnai) the teacher made the student who bought it, to read the magazine to the whole class, initially as a punishment, but later on as an interesting knowledge source. There was no occasion for him to intervene or censor.

The nice thing about this section is that it is like that old publication 'Kalkandu' - with all kinds of information being made easily available.

There are some self appointed censors and educaters in this forum who spend their time advising others what they should or should not do.

only you can put up with them

God bless you . you are a traditional tamil housewife. you know how to sweet talk them and carry on your merry way.lol

There are some in this forum who spend their time by assuming and write like எல்லாம் தெரிஞ்ச ஏகாம்பரம், there are few who try to bully others with their poor defence mechanism and there are good hearts who never miss the opportunity to perform ‘Jalra’. Forum has all sorts lol!

Thank you Krish Sir for letting God bless me!! :yo:

Often times I wonder why I should enter this forum without paying attention ONLY to the duties I am supposed to do
as a traditional Tamil housewife and a music tutor!! :decision:

RRji
This forum is a great place for letting yourself go free of duties as a house wife and tamil tutor.

but managing the senior citizens of this forum can be quite a strain.

only one could quietly ignore the bullying and so called preaching types , one can even be happy

you have the weapon of raising fingers in a delightful no-no sign for some

your posts are delightful -specially the poems, travelogues with photos.

keep it up with my blessings [ I have decided to act my age and bless youngsters like you].lol

I have no choice except believing in God after trying to transact with some members in this forum.

Gods name has to be invoked frequently whenever they start finding faults, contradictions and start preaching.lol

Why not use the term "Brahman" or Allah ?

PS: It is funny, my post questioning your use of "God bless you" when you declared earlier here
that you do not believe in God disappeared (my PC crashed) while trying to edit it. Anyway, you seem to have briefly seen the message!
I do not believe in God or temple worship
I have a lot of self belief and faith in goodness of all humanbeings
Do I qualify to be an Atheist or not?I would not mind getting classified as one though.

Jokes apart Gods blessings were invoked for a person believing in God .

It has nothing to do with my belief in God or otherwise

I do not know if this satisfies you Marbusji

Krishji:

On reading your post , my thoughts flashed back to my school days when I forgot once to do my homework assignment and the class teacher would call me up to check my homework. And for a moment I fancied like "Why can't I change myself to look like a desk and chair, so that the teacher would not see me?

The homework was about why do chameleons change color. I confessed to the teacher that I could not find the answer. Fortunately he was in a good mood that day to explain why.

He said that the general belief that chameleons change colors to disguise themselves in order to hide from predators is not true. This camouflage is not the main reason why chameleons change color.

So why do they change colors? Scientists find that chameleons change color to reflect their moods. By doing so, they send social signals to other chameleons. For example, darker colors tend to mean a chameleon is angry. Lighter colors might be used to attract mates. And chameleons have eyes that can look in two different directions at once.

PS: I can't explain why this flashback occurred.
