Its 2015 and some of us might have some New Year resolutions.

My 2015 are as follows:

1)To get more active..making sure even at work I get more active cos work is sedentary.Keeping a small time stepper machine at work..when free ..climb on it just to burn some calories.

2)To become a bit more selfish. I feel in life we need to be selfish too..we cant play Mr Nice guy forever!LOL

3)Become a bit more mechanical..this really helps preserve our mental well being.

4)"Detox" my mind..that is getting rid of every religious school of thoughts from my mind...there comes a time in life where we can not be living on borrowed thoughts..we need to be Original.

So these are my 4 New Year Resolutions.

great to have resolutions and not live upto it.lol

my thoughts

I plan on financial year basis and in april review and make fresh plans for another year.

I have promises of last year to fulfill.

I am still shooting in the dark

I am still waiting for the box office hit of the last year.

I am waiting for the white knight on a charger taking me to greater heights

let me see .

three more months are left to make a difference

Dear Renu,

You seem to have given a New Year resolution regarding our site in another thread in which I posted a message just now!

the best post on new year resolution was from JJ ji in thread happy new year 2015

she talks about luck. the need to be lucky above all things.

she thinks one needs to bond with a lot of people to be come lucky.

also says when perseverence meets oppurtunity one turns lucky and presented an anecdote of pt

ravishankar.

my day was made with this one post

let us all bond and may luck favour us all

Dear Sir,

Good..so lets hope to see more fearless powerful posts in forum.

But whatever said and done..I try real hard to get over my fear of cockroaches but still struggling.

Only once in India I managed to handle a cockroach attack.I was a college student that time.

I had gone to a shop to buy some groceries and the person at the counter opened his drawer to give me change and a cockroach flew from the drawer and landed on my coat.

At that time I did not know what to do and many engineering male students were watching and a few of them remarked.."lets see if she screams".

I was really scared but I did not dare scream cos all guys were waiting for me to scream.I know if I scream those idiots will laugh or god knows what they will do!

So I somehow managed to brush away the cockroach with my bare hands.

But at that time I was totally helpless..cos if I scream..boys will laugh..so I just managed.

I have not made any resolution. I am not the person who makes New Year's resolutions. As and when the situation presents me with challenges, I make up my mind and plunge into doing something whole-heartedly. Like last year, following the self-diagnosis of my Osteo-Arthritis, I decided to shed some weight suddenly. And I worked towards it and lost 40 lbs. This year I might lose the remaining, god willing, but I am not motivated towards it at the moment as it is not a New year's resolution for me.
