Where Can You Find The Best Husband In The World?

World Economic Forum

Where Can You Find The Best Husband In The World? Travel Article at Expatify

It all depends on what is written on one's forehead (to get a good hubby or not).

However, it can be said that overall, Indian men make good husbands if the wife makes a handsome salary.

Long ago, amongst our family friends, were a childless couple. The wife earned a handsome salary employed in a Bank and the husband, though well-earning himself, did all the chores around the house... he even went to the extent of plaiting the hair for his wife besides cooking, cleaning, etc.

Among other tips, the best and effective one is to treat your wife as she is the most beautiful women in the entire world, then you are sure to be the best husband in her pov.(Though you don’t do any household chores to help her). :-)

Why does everyone want to have the best? I never grade a human being into good, better and best.

There is no one in this world who is perfect in every way..the little imperfections in life add character to a person.

Perfection can only be fake.

So life is about being original and facing life as it comes.

Even if a person has 5 husbands..she will still find that all 5 put together is still not perfect.

The best is to compare the Pandavas and Draupadi.

All 5 failed her at the most crucial moment but I feel only Bheema wanted to wreck revenge and showed her the most love.

Yuddhisthira was too technical and text book like..so not much use.

Arjuna was too much obsessed with himself and his prowess and did not realize that Draupadi loved him the most.

Nakul and Sahadev...we have not much idea about them besides the fact that they were very good looking and knew the art of looking after horses. So I guess at least they would have been eye candy.

Doctor Mam,

IMO in real life one needs to compromise, in all ways, I mean in his personal life, in his workplace, the city or place we live in, the products we use, the temples we visit, with people we associate, etc. Why even in this Forum.

In another thread, I just read, this award winning author has now compromised, changed his stand and has resolved not to mention the native place (Locality) in his future fictions. He is just facing the ire for having specified name of the town in his fiction.

Life is like that.:-)

Beware young girls!

Even if you choose your better half from Iceland, there are 14.06% men who don't help! :(

Most of the women are smart enough to find out when the husband tells lies just to flatter her! :spy:

Dear Sir,

I dont know..but I somehow have never really compromised and neither have I imposed myself on others in my life.

The word compromise sounds as if we are doing a favor grudgingly and wish the situation could be favorable to us..so I do not believe in compromise..cos that only makes the situation worse and neither do I impose myself on others cos that would not be fair to others.

So for me when there is a differences of opinion..I prefer for both parties to voice their opinions and suggestion and sit and work out a plan that is beneficial to both keeping in view the pros and cons of both views and the minor changes that may come along with it.

There are always ways to make everything work out but the pattern of application might differ. At times after a discussion the final outcome might even be better that what we had initially dreamed off!

I have run my life that way..so I can safely say I am not dominant and neither am I a door mat.

The last sentence in post #9 is open to dispute

that someone is not a doormat can be taken at face value.

but dominance part .....

some one may accept domination out of fear and concede wife is not dominant.lol

Dear RR ji,

We have to fair to husbands too..if they tell us the truth we say that they do not appreciate us..if they tell us we are beautiful we say they are telling sweet lies!

So what are they to do?

For me I am direct..sometimes when I was a real opinion to wear a dress to someplace and not sure what to wear.

I wear all dresses and do a catwalk for my husband wearing high heels and all!LOL and ask him which looks better.

Then I make my decisions after taking his input.

So that way he gets to help me choose an outfit and get a free fashion show.

Likewise sometimes men too ask us to help us choose what they should wear..so then its time for us to ask them to walk down the fashion ramp!LOL

Best woman can groom a best husband. For this one need not go to Ireland. He may be in your next door too.

To be a best husband, best wife, best couple, etc it is mutual, give and take policy.:-)

one can always groom a neighbour if you cannot make your husband any better.

most ladies compare their husband with their neighbour to point out his inadequacies.

hence my first sentence .

Dear Renu,

Your vazhi is thaneeeee vazhi! :thumb:

When we dress up for some occasion with nice sarees and jewels, where is the time for cat walk?

More over, cat walk wearing a saree will look funny too!

BTW, Renu, you dress up ONLY to please yourself and so why to get your hubby's opinion?

Dear RR ji,

If I have an occasion to attend I usually prepare what to wear a week earlier so there is enough time for a cat walk with high heels.

Sometimes I go shopping for a new outfit too.

Now coming to your question:

BTW, Renu, you dress up ONLY to please yourself and so why to get your hubby's opinion?

I get his opinion becos he is no different from me!

I am him and he is me.

See I told you..I am so traditional.

BTW we also match our outfits so that we look a matching couple for any function to please ourselves.

LOL! I do not even know the names of my neighbours and no one talks to each other.

Dear RR ji,

When my son was small he had an army design pants and he used to ask me to get one too.

So I bought an army design pants too and we both used to wear it.

But now he is a teenager..so he is not going to match his clothes with me.

............. 1. I get his opinion becos he is no different from me!

2. See I told you..I am so traditional. .........
1. All the more reason for not getting his opinion! May be you want to enjoy a free fashion parade!

2. Yes, Renu! I believe you! :becky:

It is better to quote a portion of the post, Krish Sir!

Sometimes, we delete what we have posted, on second thoughts!

Then the post number will make others confused!

P.S: This is today's tutorial! :)
