Dear Prasad ji,

On technical grounds no one can say anything to you cos names of the two Jalras were not mentioned!LOL
You did not say what the Jalras did..all you said is "Jalras follow" and that can not be assumed as Jalras who follow is the same as people who clicked Like.

So there is no solid grounds for accusation here..you are in the clear.

It was not an open declaration of the Fantastic Four kind..remember?

There is a saying in Malay that goes "Siapa Makan Cili Dia Rasa Pedas"

It means "The person who ate the chili feels the hot sensation"

If the shoe fits wear it. (be my guest).
I am honored that my arrow finds its mark.
Guilty consciousness.

You will get in return besed on what you say and what you do. People are many who would not show their agreemed with what you received as you deserve AS WELL people are many who would show openly their agreemed with what your received.

So, instead of making complaints one should mind what one says and does

Dear sri Brahmanyam

My answer is a firm NO. We can not see such persons nowadays.

In my younger days, I had many friends who were freedom fighters and who were known for their intellectual
attainments , integrity and honesty. They were totally loyal to our country. They used to tell me many incidents
like facing the bullets from police force, coming very late in the nights to their houses to have dinner and quietly
go away by 4 am to avoid arrest.

Some of my friends have gone without food because going to their houses was risky. Some of them have donated
their property to the Govt. soon after independence. ( I can quote many examples, but I will restrict to one belonging
to CSP . His name is sri R.K.Sinha, MP and chairman of the Estimates committee. His family had no funds for his
funeral also )

Perhaps those were the golden days when we had excellent men and women.

You are very right. This individual has had the same problem with multiple members, yet has no plans in place to fix it.
Disgustingly we see many likers pile up behind him and vouch support. Perfect showcase for how inclemency breeds.

Without any hesitation, both of you rank very high in the list of Liers I have come across.
I hope this wont bother you.

Don't worry it doesn't bother anyone here...I clicked like for it !LOL

Thank you very much for the high ranking you have placed some of us.

So true yaar..see I clicked Like too!

Dear Prasad ji,

It's nice to click Like for both sides..I feel like an Ubhayapadhi Verbal Root which can be declined in 2 ways.

In case anyone is wondering what is an Ubhayapadi..read below..bye good nite signing off for the day.
[h=2]Wikipedia:

Classification of verbs[/h]There are two broad ways of classifying Sanskrit verbal roots. They are: Parasmaipadi and Atmanepadi. But some roots are Ubhayapadi i.e. they are declined as Parasmaipadi as well as Atmanepadi roots.

I was wondering if these discussions were intrusion and diversion to the OP.
But on deeper thought, I find it very apt. :)

Eight hours power cut for me on the wrong day!
Before going :focus: just one post from me:

'Sani peyarchi' seems to have some effects on this forum members.

I wrote:

He must have gone to heaven long back. The details about his children are not given in the article! Probably, some people from his native place may be able to give the whereabouts of his grandchildren!!
Naina Sir replied:

Maybe, someone in the forum may have some knowledge...
(We are thousands of members, even though some have many avtars; right?)

I don't find anything hilarious in this. I am very sorry that so many posts have appeared just because of Prasad Sir's comment!

Please remember, 'viLaiyAttE vinaiyAgum!'

Dear sri Bramhanyan and Mr.Ravi,

It is very sad to see the present state of affairs - corruption, scam, rising prices, looting the public and amassing wealth,
having swiss bank accounts, poverty of philosophy ( and perhaps philosophy of poverty for the public ), ugly lavish expenditure,
tall buildings and small-minded men, selfish to the core.

I am wondering as to how to arrest the decline in the quality of men in general and politicians in particular. Unless we have
good citizens, the fall in standards is going to be too steep.

Here is the conundrum for the day..
If there were such people then, why are they scarce now? Money? Greed?

Perhaps such people are not scarce even now. Maybe, we do not get to hear about them or even if we do we don' take cognizance. Given the wide prevalence of corruption in our country, every government official who does his job honesly is one such person in my books. If you look at all the scams that have come into light recently, the exposure of all these was possible because of one or two honest and fearless whisteblowers in each case. The fact that the price for defection is not just loss of money makes these people truly wonderful!

Here is one example.

Shunted out: Haryana babu Ashok Khemka pays for axing Vadra deal : North, News - India Today
.

Mr. Bhiravan sir,
It takes a good man to recognize goodness in other. Well said sir.
Perhaps such people are not scarce even now. Maybe, we do not get to hear about them or even if we do we don' take cognizance.

Sir you proved that English is a second language to you, when you did not understand my joke. Why do you have to prove it again.
The word dirge means:
1. Music
a. A funeral hymn or lament.
b. A slow, mournful musical composition.
2. A mournful or elegiac poem or other literary work.
3. Roman Catholic Church The Office of the Dead.

Show me one post of mine where I am singing.
So you learned a new word trol, probably from my post, and quickly wanted to use it.
I do write in this forum, and sometimes critical of some opinion expressed. I see that you have the two jalara accompanying your post, they too come because of me. They actually may not agree with you, but they follow me to oppose me. You can see them in every thread I post. So may be you are that dirge.
Right through my school years, I am proud to say that I had Tamil as first language, studied in Tamil medium ‘non-convent’ schools, Sanskrit was my second language, and English was only a third language.

So, I can better express my sentiments in Tamil:

எங்கோ ஒரு தகவல் இருந்தால் அதை வைத்துக்கொண்டு ஆனைக்கு அர்ரம்னா குதிரைக்கு குர்ரம்தான்னு சொல்கிற, முயலுக்கு மூணுகால்தான் என்று சொல்கிற பார்ட்டிகளை பதில் கூறாமல் கடப்பதே விவேகம் !

Dear Sri Ranganathan,

You have already answered your query , We should be "good citizens". Then the "change" should start with ourselves. After all a nation is made up of people like you and me. If some one could not understand what is good citizen or right living, then the law should act and make him understand. The society has a lot of responsibility in enforcing law and order. Perhaps we may have to strengthen our Legal systems with deterrent punishments. The Courts should act fast and firm. Economic offenses are difficult to prove. Our legal system should change according to the needs of the present requirements.
Well, I have strong belief that when system is not adequate, nature will intervene in its own way and set right the delinquency.

Regards,
Brahmanyan,
Bangalore.

lets examine a classic case.

we all from childhood taught on the ill effects of jathi system and were told not to give importance to this ,in my youth i also felt disgusted with jathi system and was verily influenced by all the negative connotations surrounding this. i believed for all the previous Failures of our society is because of the fractures created by jathi system .at that age i didn't think properly and was led by the general feel factor of the society.

after reading swamii dayanand sarawati thoughts on duty based society and rights based society made me to accept a little bit on the fairness of the jathi system. further reading on Maha periavals writing on jathi system helped me to realize 2 things

1 ) there is no such thing called high jathi and low jathi it is simply a complex of human psyche and nothing more.
2) the role it played in maintaining law and order.

as years pass by i cannot but to admire the 2 role which is a headache to many a government is easily achieved by this system.

humans are social animal and there is no greater punishment than the fear of banishment from there group. this made him to behave in right conduct.
the errant one will be warned to behave himself or face banishment , this acted as good deterrent to crime .
