Why are vaishnavites better off than saivites?

While the subject is on, I would like to know whether Vishnu temples are richer only by contributions or offerings by Vaishnavites and Shiva temples are poorer because of non-contributions or offerings by Vaishnavites. மறந்தும் மாற்றானை தொழோம் மரபை சார்ந்தவர்கள் எண்ணிக்கை கூடி உள்ளதா
Or has disappeared or become irrelevant.

Dear FFiends, i feel that in places where saivite temples are famous the income would obviously be more. likewise, wherever vaishnava temples are more, the income would be more. however Vaisnava famous big temples, attract tourists in large numbers & the income swells

I think, this topic can be closed.

Lord Vishnu is after all the God of Protection while Lord Shiva is of Destruction. Vaishnavites (Followers of Vishnu, I mean) hence, celebrate life and its pleasures. Dancing, Rasleela, Music, Beauty etc. come naturally to them without any philosophical tinge of fleeting nature of universe. Devotees of lord Shiva are always reminded about destruction, mortality, ephemeral nature of the world etc. May one is life-oriented and another is after-life oriented. Hence, the priorities differ, I think.

Are you sure you want to say this in TB site. In my short stay I have seen people who are unhappy to very unhappy. "ras leela" would be a foreign influence. Just a joke LOL.

After life, that is another matter, most of them are so unhappy with the current life that they dont want any more life. Wait and see.
