Some many many years back when I was just some 14 years old..my family went to hill resort called Fraser's Hill out here in Msia.
We stayed in a hotel which had a nice gym and table tennis facilities.
There was a family fron Sweden..a white family and the young boy aged around 12 was playing table tennis with my younger brother.
The Swedish boy was way too good and was scoring well ahead of my brother.
Then the Swedish's boys father said something to him in their own language and the boy started to tone down his playing and let my brother score a few points and finally the Swedish boy let my brother catch up and only beat my bro by 1 point.
It was obvious that his father did want to let his son beat someone else who was not as good with a marked difference in score point.
I still remember that incident till today..a very polished Swedish man who wanted kids to play for fun and not win by a great difference.
