We used to laugh about one of our acquaintances being pulled by mil to check if the hair is genuine or not during the girl seeing function...Unfortunately the savuri came with her pull..The girl was in tears..But mil was magnanimous(?) enough to accept her as dil...This incident happened some 40 years ago..Nowadays mil have to fear for dil

But yesterday I heard something funny in the TV serial 'Seethaiyin Raman'. Ram's elder sister finds out her brothers before getting introduced.

She says that the boy with a long nose should be Lakshman because those who get angry fast are supposed to have long nose!
