Some are lucky to have - 'aathule oru kaal and sethule oru kaal' or best of both worlds; have purchased houses in their native places and spend a major part of the year in india. I know three such couples; in the fourth case, the husband wants to do this, but the wife is not for it. They have now sold their semi detached house and soon will move into a high-tech gated community apartments.

Some youngsters in their early thirties have already bought apartments in chennai suburbs and the emi paid from the rent collected. The decision to return will be easier for these in future.

Even to love one and marry another is loss of 'karpu'. All the 120 students of my engineering class (including odd 15 tbs) objected to saroja devi marrying sivaji ganesan after loving rajendran in aalayamani (I think). The boy born and brought up in canada in a running tv serial also wants a tamil girl embracing tamil culture.

Dear Sravna,

I get what you mean..but usually those who are taken for a ride are the innocent strict home guys and girls..these are the types that commit suicide if they get ditched by their partners.

Their world comes to an end when their virginity is lost.

Namaste Renuka ji,

Dear Sravna,

..but usually those who are taken for a ride are the innocent strict home guys and girls..

I believe that no one is innocent and that such so called innocent types (boy or gal) are infact just taking a very calculated risk (optimistic that thing wont go wrong or ready to face the consequences).

Also, I believe that people that attempt suicide have purposefully blinded themselves to the various outcomes of a calculated risk and/BUT bank on only the desired outcome.
But they do know all the possible outcomes and yet are unable to accept/cope-with the undesired outcome.

So I believe (even you said the same in some other post of yours) that suicidal tendencies cannot be associated to a particular person/event/outcome.

I reiterate, I believe no is innocent, all are smart and willingly take CALCULATED risks but are cowards (innocent?) to face the outcome of their actions.

Thanks,
Jai SiyaRaam

Loss of virginity could be a gain of .... experience? If it is really a loss, why are so many people eager to lose it?

When Pleasure is guaranteed, some would not mind losing something.

If only prior intercourse experience can alone guarantee satisfaction among married couples, every happily married couples on this planet would have opted for such premarital experiences.

If married couple can not wait for couple of weeks to get adjusted, learn, share and then get into fullest & satisfied sex, all as a process of developing true love, respect, intimacy, confident and the sense of "for each other", then what patience can they develop to live life long with each other, adjusting & compromising every now and then, through out?

For some, having premarital and extramarital sex is something similar to naturally and casually pissing and shitting. LOL!!
And they proudly say, they are experienced in that!

Ravi ji,

With due respect, may be only the 1st para you wrote would resonate with today's young people. They may not be looking for the "guaranteed satisfaction" you write about in later paras. Nothing is guaranteed, even in good ole fashioned same-caste arranged marriages.

Nope..not true..the act of micturation and defecation does not involve the rhythmic pulsatile contractions of the Pubococcygeus muscle.

If what you say is true..then with all the micturation and defecation induced pleasure, unmarried guys will not resort to actions that simulate intercourse sans a partner and rather just be having diarrhea 24/7!LOL

BTW even unmarried males who have not had sexual intercourse are not Urdhva Retas either..so that shows that the human mind seeks pleasure at any cost.

Dear Biswa,

To gain something one has to lose something.

After all even to get into Heaven....one needs to lose his/her life.

No loss..no gain!
