In 2011, Sasikala, who had by then lived with Jayalalithaa for almost 30 years, was asked to leave the house after her relatives were accused of abusing power. Sasikala was forgiven and she was back in the house and party, perhaps more powerful than before.

But will OPS like Sasikala be able to claw his way back or are his days of being the trusted lieutenant officially over? If AIADMK sources are to be believed, OPS will not matter much, at least for the 2016 polls.

OPS was the No 2 in the cabinet and had full confidence of JJ..He used to Mr dependable...That he can do so much behind the scenes is shocking!!
 
Horses are part of our political dispensation from from the days fo our Puranas and ithihasa You know about the Aswamatha performed by various kings during that era

In Democratic India Horse Trading by politicians is routinely encouraged to make/ or break a Government and to parade the majority before the Governor!

But the breaking the hind leg of a Horse by a MLA is something New!

Prayers never fail. Carrying this message, a large contingent of men and women, led by Madurai Mayor V. V. Rajan Chellappa of the AIADMK, witnessed the commencement of ‘Sri Satha Chandi mahayagam’ on the sprawling Tamukkam Grounds here on Wednesday.

The special puja began with the slogan, ‘All for our Amma’s wellness and her return as Chief Minister,’ coinciding with her birth star, Maham .

Elaborating on the puja, Mr. Chellappa said that 108 homa kundams had been placed and pujas started with 150 Sivacharyas drawn from major temples of the State, led by the head priest of Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple here. Chanting of mantras and Vedic hymns will conclude on Thursday forenoon.

“By performing the Chandi yagam at a single location on a large scale with 108 homa kundams, it is a belief that all wishes will be fulfilled,” a Sivacharya said.

To day morning in TV news, a portion of VAIKO's speach was telecast. He says that two of the Tamilnadu minsters are

being kept under house siege by AIADMK. [h=2][/h]

Comparison of Aswamedha with Horse trading, something quite unique!!
 
I think the vedic yagas are performed with good intentions like Survay Jano Suhino Bhavanthu and not to destroy some one - Aspiring to be the Mantri- he should have consulted a Thantri who specilizes in these destructive arts of குட்டி சாத்தான் ! or go to Kollungudi in Sivagangai District and pray to Kali by cutting metallic coins to pieces which is belived to be effective for destroying your enemies !
 
To my limited knowledge, it is said that while noble hearts strive for good/ positive things, small minds long for destructive and negative things.

Some minds in the process go for (1) Mantra - Mind power - Sattva,(2) Tantra - Body power - Tamas and Yantra - Will power - Rajas.

And there are three paths of action viz (1) Karma Marg - (Path of action) (2) Jnana Marg - Path of knowledge and (3) Sanyasa Marg (Path of Renunciation).

These are all three approaches available to everyone to achieve the desired end/goal.

Above all everyone has a purpose/goal.
 
Against all the three powers, one more supreme is there that rules politics.
Money power!!
All the three powers, if not combined with this supreme power, a person could not thrive in politics.

It appears that OPS & Co stopped dealing in coins for a quite long time.
Of late, they transact only in 1000 Re notes; that too in bundles !
For them, low profile remedies are not suited; they are guided by Namboodries !
 
The politician do only "குதிரை சவாரி" குதிக்கும் குதிரையின் குதிகாலை குச்சியால் குத்தி காெதருவது - யாகமல்ல - அஸ்வமேதபாவம They need அஸ்வகந்தி லேக்யம் for their sick mind!

The leg of Uttarakhand Police horse Shaktiman, who was allegedly attacked by a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA during a protest in Dehradun, has been amputated. According to reports, doctors diagnosed that blood supply to injured leg had stopped so it had to be amputated.
