Badarayana gotram

Gotras and kula deivams have no connection. One's gotra denotes their genealogy (for all Brahmins and Vadakalai SVs (wrt non-brahmins and thenkalai SVs, the gotra varies case by case)). To find out a possible kula deivam find out about your hometown then we can narrow it down depending on other factors. Also if your family has been praying to a particular temple for 5 or more generations that is your kula deivam or at least one of your kula deivams and you will have to go there to pray as often as you can.
