a-TB talked of midlife crisis.

Many in midlife think of all kinds of possibilities on what they could have done instead of what they did in the past . They introspect and act to change it making it

worser than before.They end up damaging relationships, ruin marriages and run amok.Late thirties are a nightmare. Many break marriages, some end up satisfying

their itches outside, run after non existent lights in an unending dark tunnel.They go into a voyage of self discovery cursing themselves that they have been fools all

along. They make ill advised career changes. They change their living styles. Run after lifestyle gurus for salvation.If one can maintain balance in mid life , then one

has mastered living.

Recommend novel 'Herzog" by Saul Bellow.

Read during my idle days as a research scholar in IIT in late sixties.

Respect your dad’s hard work and sacrifice.

A Dad

Sacrifices his needs to satisfy your greed's;

He gets out of his comfort zone to give you comfort;

He always gives you the best even when you don’t deserve;

He works hard so that you can reap the benefits;

He even loses his self-respect,for you to live with respect;

His happiest moments are your joyous moments;

He gives attention to every word you say;

He is the pillar of the family;

Because he cares for his family he doesn’t share his burden with them;

Never forget that your dad has given you an identity.

If you love and respect your dad you will strive and leave no stone unturned to attain great heights and make him proud, so that his

hard work and sacrifice doesn’t go in vain.
