One of my favorite plus sized celebrity..Queen Latifah.
She really carries herself very well.

Some decades ago, in mumbai my boss and i saw a big bill board; a young couple is swim suits sat facing the sea and only their vast bare back was staring at the public. My boss thought the ad was silly as it did not convey any message. The clever one (me) said: it is simple; they care a hoot for the world, don't care what others think and that is why they have turned their back to us. Boss, duly impressed, gave a special increment.

The ad was for cigarettes (wills, I think), boss was a smoker and I was not.

There is clue in the post re analysis, you may build on it.

Dear Sarang ji,

Please kindly comment on that pic so that I may analyse you!!LOL

A sad woman

May be, she is just admiring and enjoying the beauty of the nature, having peace of mind away from crowd, pains and false representations under the bright Sun!!!

MOON is telling her - to identify the best amidst the REALITIES.
ROUGH WATER is telling her - to be brave, strong and versatile AND still retain your feminine SPECIALTIES.
BLOWING BREEZE is telling her - to enjoy the flow of life BUT be in your control and enhance your ABILITIES.
The WHARF on which she is seated is telling her - to be gentle on others and they will support you during your DIFFICULTIES.

The DARKNESS is telling her - You necessarily need not be lost in DARK. You can appreciate yourself, appreciate many things in your surrounding, can keep yourself happy and be in your true self. You can find many beautiful realities surrounding you AND you can find yourself being Mesmerized and Pampered, that would help you lose undesirable PRIORITIES.

Hey Ravi,
So how many idlis did you eat this time?

I am dead sure that, If you have my mum's Poo Pola Soft Idlies, you will end up eating at least 15 Idlis with delicious Chinna Vengaayam Saambaar.......:hungry:

By the by, don't count on how many idlis of my mum's preparation, I target to eat and enjoy AND put Kannu on Vaaliba Payyan.
:becky:

One north Indian friend was so impressed with my sambar that
he wanted to drink it from a cup!

I warned him in Senthil style,
"pinnadi problem aagum sir!"

But he insisted on drinking it all the same.

I can understand people drinking rasam ...
but drinking sambar!!!

Hey Ravi,

I will tell you a true story that happened when I was some age 10.
Ok my father along with my mum and me where in a car and my father was driving in a remote area where he had to go for some inspection of working conditions for some company.

So all of us saw a lady walking on the road just having taken her bath from the river.
Her hair was long and black and her body looked very nice from the back.

My mum was curious to see who she was cos from the back her hair and body she looked so beautiful and my mum thought that this hair and body must belong to a beautiful face.

So my mum turned around to look at her and then my mum kept quiet.
We didn't bother to look and my dad was driving and didn't care to look.

When we reached home only then my mum said what she saw.
She didn't want to scare us.
She said the woman's face was just a skull with fangs and dripping blood from the mouth.

That was the famous M'sian ghost Pontianak ..that too walking in broad daylight!!
I wonder the plight of any guy who thought she was a pretty girl walking on the road!!

Obviously the Pontianak is always being FOLLOWED by men
and never ever faced from the front!

So she /it has an enticing and inviting back side
and a terrifying front side! :scared:

OR may be she/it shows a lovely face to menfolk her likely victims and
a scary face to the womenfolk who are useless to her anyway.

It is better NOT to judge a book
by looking at its
front cover or back cover!!!

Ghost are not so Filmi..but each ghost encounter is unique.
Once I was staying in a hotel cos I had to attend some conference.
My husband had accompanied me.
The room was a Double A/C room so all doors and windows were shut when we were asleep.

At night I had a nightmare that there was an accident outside the hotel and there were many people dead and in my dream I was seeing all these from the hotel room window.
Then in my dream the doors of the room open on its own and the windows also open on its own and strong wind started to blow.

The I suddenly woke up cos I felt strong wind blowing in my room and saw that all windows and the door were opened.
I woke up my husband and my husband called up the reception to ask if anyone had come to our room when we were asleep cos how could the door and all windows open on it's own.

The hotel said they had tight security and this would not be possible.

The next day a cleaner lady told me that a few years ago there was an accident right in front of the hotel and many people died and some rooms in the hotel the windows and door open on its own after that day.

Scary???

Doc

Not scary, as such. It's said to be a transition stage from one realm to another. I am no expert
on the subject but some study on " Lost Souls " , or a book [ don't know if it is in publication still ]
" Sorrows of Satan " could throw more light - though these are seen from the viewpoint of a
Westerner.

Closer home, one can perceive a certain degree of satisfaction while performing oblations to forefathers
[ Pitrus ] such as Tarpanam / Pinda Pradanam during Devasam at home and more so when performed
in places like Allahabad/Kasi/Gaya.

The importance and significance of Pitru Karyams has been spoken about by Kanch Maha Periyaval
in "Deivathin Kural".

I am sure that many on this forum have copies of Deivathin Kural and hope somebody posts the
relevant chapter.
