happy, sesh,
all i was trying to do was to give some examples of exceptional circumstances.
sesh, ofcourse, there are people in leningrad itself, who starved to death, than eat their fellow humans.
this was a covert practice, and the only way people suspected the cannibals, was that when most of the population was skin & bones, these people had a healthy sheen on them.
all this was done covertly.
in the andes aircrash, it was a communal affair.
many of us brought up in the vegetarian tradition, balk even at consuming an egg. so be it.
i live in canada, and have friends, who do not even milk products. and no cooked food either. they just live on fruits, nuts etc.
food habits are an individual preference, though much of it is regulated by religious beliefs and cultural norms. there is no right or wrong way.
atleast that is the way i think.
