dear Renu,
I have felt the coolness and freshness of the sprinkled rose water drops
when a young pujari's eyes fell on me - in one of the DEVI temples in Kerala.

He did not belong to this world of mere human beings.
He was surely divine!

I have felt the same coolness as that of the full-moon-light (chaandini)
in the presence of a male member of forum... with rich silver plumes.

Can you make a wild guess??? :)

What brands of vodka, whisky, cognac, absinthe, rum, beer etc will flow during the get together?

I have advised you to know the audience, before you speak. You got upset with my post, but that is ok, everybody has to bear their own cross.
This time your comment is hilarious, I am sure you did not mean it.

OMG VR ji..You have fallen in love???

Wow great!

RR ji..you have competition of the Master Host kind!
Dear Renu,

Tambram kids are all taught 'virundhOmbal' right from their childhood. :thumb:

When Ram and I visited TVK Sir's house, we had a very warm welcome

and enjoyed their hospitality. They served us S K C (Sweet KAram Coffee)

We visited them after finishing heavy lunch in our relative's wedding.

In fact TVK Sir led us to his sweet home from the main road junction. :)

No Renuka. I am not attending. Thanks. ...
கிளம்பீட்டாங்கய்யா! கிளம்பீட்டாங்க!!

இன்னும் எத்தனி பேரு???

If you look at the avatar pictures of Sri Nara and Sri Vaagmi I am reminded of something an old lady said many years ago in Chennai. If you are born as a boy in a TB family you dont have to look good ...

All guys in the forum will therefore qualify for the top spot for being handsome

A good one sir! :thumb:

That will make the competition very tough for the :first:!!! :)

In Schools they give away consolation prize

aka participation prize so that children feel happy.

May be the organizer should do something similar

to keep all the peole in good humor. :)

Does the highlighted portion explain

WHY brahmin girls prefer non brahmin boys???:peace:

Some people open their sentence with the words,

"I will tell you a Joke" to make you be prepared

to laugh whatever is being told to you!

If it is a joke the person will burst out laughing anyway.

If someone is handsome/ beautiful, the others will feel it anyway!

Someone should start a course for unmarried TB boys - how to bring out their natural handsomeness and act confident, teach them to attract women .. I am sure TB boys will excel once taught.. Let us not get our top contestants of this forum to teach .. they will teach them the opposite .. Just kidding :-)

Should I say that I am not attending, and TKSji avatar will win if he attends.

You have got a valid point there sir!:clap2:

What Tamil Brahmin boys mostly lack is self confidence.

And they need everything be taught to them in the proper manner -

preferably by a well qualified guru!!!

There is a parent here who pays through her nose for the
music class of her elder daughter and the dance class of the younger daughter.

So she will be on the look out for any occasion where 4 or more people wil gather.
Presto! there will be a song by the elder daughter and a dance by the younger -
even if he space available is < 4 sq.feet!

On the oonjavruththi day the temple was tightly packed with people.
The elder girl sang Kalyani Raga varnam with so much confidence -
even when she forgot the first two swarams after charanam.

I guess none but me would have found it out since she was oozing with conidence.

The younger one did not have place to perform any steps.
She stood rooted to the spot and did the dance
moving everything except her feet!

AND they are NOT brahmins!!
AND That is what sent me thinking on this line!

Confidence is sometimes faked..

True confidence comes from expending proper effort with Shraddha.

If TB boys have to attract girls they have to be taught !

Self confidence from knowing one's strength goes a long way coupled with effort .

If I were to visit India at the next gathering I volunteer to teach a class

I cannot reveal how I acquired my expertise in my younger days when I was immature :-)

I can already see our Professor Nara competing to teach ...

The type of confidence the girl exhibits when she sings is

NOT because of her mastery over the subject

but because she thinks no one knows anything anyway

and wants to cash on their state of gnaana soonyamas!

Yes these two types of self confidence are worlds apart.

So may be I should make it convenient to attend or host

the next meet, just to see how the learned professors

handle and manage to teach these delicate matters!
