Hate Posters in Sri Rangam

If you think it is pertinent and you are passionate about it, do something about it. Just writing about it on an internet site is not enough.
Yes one need to have the courage to do it. You can get in touch with Arjun Sampth (Hindu makkal katchI) or any karya kartha of BJP or Dr Subramanian Swamy. There are lawyers who can take up your case. Dont be silent! Raise a police complaint. If they dont raise FIR that itself is an offence with solid evidence!

I did not understand this retort.
For example another member has provided some insights, which I find useful.
Merely jabbing a member who wants to constructively discuss a subject only shows a self indulgent attitude and I say this with all my regards to you, as a 55 year old, and a member of this forum. Perhaps you could try being constructive in communication.

Thank you for the useful tips. Regards.

Mine was not a retort. It was an advice. I am not going to spoon-feed every step you need to take. If I were passionate about any issue, I would study, research, and then proceed. We are all adults and educated on this site. If you do not understand something you can post a specific question, and others will answer it.
We have many posters who post one question and never come back.

So see it from our POV. Good luck.

I dont understand what is the reference to 'Our' pov? If this is 'you' and your private forum, then you can say that. If not, its undermining the entire forum itself. Further, please try to change your communication to be more constructive. What I have received from you herein is repelling and ullike anything I have seen on this site.

I have nothing to say to you.

Mr Ramsrini - you brought up a very good issue. A bit of awareness of such hatred with examples is useful to everyone.

Unfortunately ignorance drives this hatred. If such posters become common place I hope the temple authorities take up the issue legally as a possible deterrence.

This forum has lots of sections with useful information based on your interests.

But this section also attracts people who are not representatives of any community. Since you are a new member I am sharing my experience Don’t waste your time with anyone that derails a discussion. They are not doing on purpose. They just are like that eager to engage with someone and sometimes attack is a way. They may be lonely in life, who knows. Bless them and move on

Also you will discover that there are one or two who really need therapeutic help. Best is to not engage with them.

Aside this you can have good discussion here. All the best. I am an infrequent visitor here. Hope you continue to contribute to discussions

Namaskaram Sir,
Thank you immensely for your mail. This is the reason I am in this forum because of such constructive discussions, people like you of such level of wisdom, maturity and kindness to complete strangers who can convey their thoughts and provide a perspective without bursting out their internal anger. This is an amazing forum and your mail convinces me of the goodness here. My best Regards.

A quick note (small digression). Mental issues are like physical issues. There is a stigma in the Indian society and that is unfortunate. Those that seek treatment have to be applauded. My comment earlier is about a few needing therapeutic help via psychiatrist but they may be unwilling to admit to their issues.

Those that seek help - my heart goes out to them and wish them well.

Dear Sir,
Though you mean well and logically correct but its best we refrain from commenting openly on the mental health status of anyone.
It can have disastrous consequences to the person reading the comment.

There are many types of disorders where the person is totally unable to realize they need help.
So it isnt so black and white who realizes their condition and who is able to seek help.

If we really want to help anyone to seek psychiatric help, we can send them a private message to guide them to seek help or get someone else to help guide them.

Regards

I understand the point. Here is my take (I know it is still a digression from the topic and will stop with this). I am not a professional and hence not suited to make a diagnosis. Even most psychiatrist are bound by a code of ethics wherein they do not make a comment about anyone without seeing them. My comment is hence general only and not pointing to anyone per se. Only suggest newcomer to be watchful and to not engage with such a situation. I cannot think I can say or do anything to be helpful. One needs a lot of credibility to be helpful with those afflicted.

I think you are best suited to help being in the health profession. Also being a long term member you have far more credibility than me.

But encouraging and making it appear it is all fine is not in the best interest of anyone. With that said I appreciate the spirit of your comments

Some people know their deficiency and understand it. Some people with a deficiency don't realize it, and some think it is their superior knowledge.
