sawan ka mahina, was laxmikant pyarelal at the top of their glory! these produced some great tunes in the 60s and 70s, though i think, they are not played any more by the radio jockeys of today!!

I see that I include those songs which are remembered even today not only due to the lyrics and music direction but also because of the performance of the casting pairs. These songs are popular even today due to the superb performance by those great actors. Some of them didn’t shine much, not because of their less talent but due to the lack of luck and absence of mentors in the industry. This is from my personal observation. All are excellent performers in their own way. So, I just don’t want to miss any. This is my tribute to all of them in my way. My purpose will be solved, all of you will enjoy and remember those songs once again, and I get immense satisfaction for a perfect job done. Do what you love and love what you do, 100%. Not a percent less. That I don’t like. Anandi

Here is another song for all times, one that I used to hum all through my school days. Recently I saw a fellow (Bansal?) dance to this song, in Vijay TV in Just Dance program dubbed in Tamil -- it was just amazing. I am searching for this particular song and dance bit, but can't find it.

Oh!! thanks a lot Ravi Bhai...I too like the song very much... M.Rafi and Shammi Kapoor; they made a great combination, Rafi Saab's voice was suitable for Shammi Kapoor like anything and his mannerisms and style supported the song to the fullest..:-))
