SRK is on Taxi roof and Salman is in a Jeep.

BTW, who is this Amritha Sen? Is she some hybrid of Amrita Singh and Sushmita Sen? Or is she the daughter of Nobel laureate Amartya Sen?

Oops!!!! It was a typing error...The actress is Amrita Singh. The youtube video link I have posted has her name in tittle.

You seem to be fascinated with pointing out silly errors... :). May be it helps you to post something funny. Like, trying to figure out if Amrita Sen is hybrid of Amrita Singh and Sushmitha Sen..LOL!!

Dear Amala,

You know what??? Let me tell you something that you may agree with.

People who love music and feel mesmerized by the musical notes, tunes, rhythm, instrumental plays and the melody of the voice are basically found to be gentle, considerate, cool minded, loving, sweet, forgiving, forgetting the bitter feelings and experiences, becoming cheerful at the drop of the hat, ice-breaker, cheer leaders and some one who would some how manage to spend at least few minutes to enjoy sharing music with others, some or other way.

You love music of all the kinds. Whether it's filmy, ghazal, kavaali, carnatic, pop/rap/metallic or spiritual hums and tunes, you like all what so ever may be the language of the lyrics. You have indicated long ago that you learned carnatic music and you are passionate about it.

Considering all the above, I fail to understand why you are ignoring to peep in this thread of yours and participate in sharing and expressing your views etc, at least once in a week?

People who love music basically be young by heart, fun loving and enthusiastic.

I strongly believe that, you now have enough life time experiences, living in this world as human along with fellow humans and could have enough maturity and balanced thoughts to keep your heart and mind free from any unwanted burdens/disturbances, such that you keep yourself and others happy. Such that you keep going in your life with all your charm and right spirit.

I hope, you will soon be able to spare your time out of your hectic schedule, to participate at least in this thread and enjoy the sense of relaxation, interactions and togetherness.

All said and done, here is a beautiful song for you. Hope you will like it, enjoy it and would feel relaxed.

The song is from the movie - HERO. This is the sequence in which the girl who has been abducted by a Man (with his team of men to take valid revenge with the girl's father in order to put him in his place that he deserves, as per his deeds), remains in the state of distress, being isolated from her joyful world and kept in secret place in a forest. When she finds a beautiful place with nature's beauty in all its might, she gets fascinated and starts appreciating and enjoying.

Such is the power of our brain, when we could have the sense of liking and appreciation of something (like music, dance, painting, nature's beauty etc) and can be receptive to the mesmerizing sensations.

So, get in and be one among us, here. Once you re-enter here, I believe, we can find many more members sharing many beautiful songs here, including myself :)

Let's together go for another big round of sharing different kinda music among our self, no matter if that leads to repetition of what we have shared in the beginning, long ago.

:)

Hope you will not disappoint any one here, including Shri Nara and myself.

Dear Renuka,

That's very nice song, expressing deep feelings of losing a friend and losing Love and the rejection to the acceptance of both by the person at the receiving end. Nice music but a very sad song..

Here I go with another sad song..

Manzilen apni jagah hain
Raasthe apni jagah
Jub Kadham hee saath naa daen
Tho musaafir kyaa karey?

Youn tho hai humdurd bhi aur
Humsafar bhi hai mera
Badhkar koi haath naa dhey
Dil bhala phir kyaa karey?

Hi all,
Thanks to Amala for starting this thread.
At one time, Dev Anand had SD Burman to compose songs for him and Sahir to come up with lyrics. Raj Kapoor had the duo of Shankar-Jaikishen with lyrics by Hasrat Jaipuri. And Dilip Kumar had the combination of Nausad and Sakhil. Those were the days of great music and lyrics.
I fell in love with Hindi songs during my school days with Bobby, Yaadon Ki Baraaat which were released then and went back to older film songs.
Madan Mohan, Jaidev, Ravi, Khayyam are great composers too.
My favourite of Lata is from Mughal-e-Azam Mohe pangat pe nandlal chhed gayo re. I have never heard a more sweeter song from Lata that this. I cant explain why. There are more songs which I hope to share soon. Keep coming up with songs friends.

Dear Mr.nsmkrish,

Nice to find you here with some good info about the past musicians/composers, singers and actors. Nice to note that you have thanked the OP, Ms.Amala for starting this thread. Yes, yourself, myself and many other members who love music and bollywood songs are much happy to have this thread into existence and have enjoyed with lots of sharing.

Eagerly waiting for you to come up with your finest/favorite selections here.

If not mistaken, I would like you to request the OP, Ms.Amala to respond in this thread, started by her. I guess, a request from you as a new member here would most probably make her a come back and come up with her favorite song selections.

Dear Amala and all,

A beautiful song from the movie - KISMAT

There are millions of people with heart... but you don't find love...

You don't find faithfulness in any one's eyes here...

I have been to gatherings... I have peeked in every heart...

I have sang with all music...

But my heart has not find it's solace... So I stayed alone in this world...

Now where do I take this heart, if you tell me... If you ask me... then I will become yours... If you tell me with a smile... what your heart tells you...
