one of my favorites and I have sung this in wedding and also in mehfil that we have every month.. it was a great song to sing.. music is awesome.. :-)

My friend Amala, the OP of this thread, missing from the forum for so long. Here is a song I would like to offer as a friendly dedication to her -- I have no idea what the lyrics mean, if inappropriate, a million pardons. This is a song I used to be mad about, forgot about it due to aging, but recently reminded of it by a beer commercial for Heineken.

so nice of you to dedicate this to Amala.. the song says, " you look familiar, life is easy to live, and you are mesmerizing me with you eyes.. that is start of the song.. nice song.. :-) with all the old fashion shakes and twist.. :-)
 
Nara Ji, it is not a bad meaning song, they are just having fun I don't remember seeing this scene in gumnam.. but sounds like fun and one can just dance away his frustration and feel fresh after :-)

Wow Ravi...real sweet of you and I couldn't help notice that the pic of the actress in this You tube video does resemble Amala too.

Yes, many of us miss Amala in this forum. Needless to say, I miss her a lot at least in this thread that she started. I love Hindi songs as much as I love Tamil songs. The music, the rhythm and the lyrics of many songs are so beautiful and meaningful that seem to be expressing what exactly a person among us is feeling / going through.

I hope too that she will be back to this forum ASAP.

What a lovely song you have posted Shmt Subhalakshmi!! All about Thanhaayi - Loneliness, obstacles, disappointments and loss of happiness that the man in the song is facing. Frankly speaking, this is what is my current state of affair.

Dear Renuka,

Its OK for me with whatever she posts. Amala is a smart girl and knows clearly as what she wants and what she likes. After all it's her choice of living, experiencing and cherishing.


All that matters to me is, she should participate at least in this thread (if she don't want to involve in serious discussions) that she started and share Hindi songs with all of us here.

Hope she will be back in a day or two.
