the dmk cm of t.nadu says he is an atheist. though a hindu(?), he denounces hindiusm totally always. at the same time he praises islam, christianity that too by comparing with hinduism. is it not like praising somebody's mother and abusing your own mother? will educated people ever do that?
it s also being said that hinduism is the only relegion which sanctions untouchability and that is why so called untouchables are given reservation. but they can always convert themselves to other religions - and there are so many religions in india itself- to escape untouchablilty. why reservations? is it not hypocrytic to denounce your own religion but still certify yourselves as 'hindu' just to get quota benefits?

all other religions are just faiths propagating the greatness of god. but hinduism is not religion alone. its a reform movement. that is why hinduism says that non vegetarians are untouchables. hinduism is a science. all practices of hinduism are proved truths and facts. not beliefs.

the present cm of t.nadu got only 33% of votes polled in 1989. but he still formed the govt. what sort of rationalism is this when u form a govt. inspite of knowning that 67% of people hve voted against you?

just imagine the noise that would have erupted all over india had any one of the following - osama bin laden, saddam hussain, madhani, al-umma basha, LTTE Prabhakaran- had been brahmins.

HI - the present c.m. of t.nadu has issued an order that persons of all castes can become archakas in temples. temples were not built and are not maintained by govt. funds or tax payers money. in fact it is other way round. temple funds have been used for govt purposes, public purposes. what right does a govt have to regulate temple practices, when it is not owned by govt. after all in secular democracy you cannot have govt. temples or govt. places of worship. all temples belong to private maths not govts, and govts. cannot interfere n this.

HI - in the 1950s a tmil film called parasakthi was released. it was written by the present cm of t.ndu. in that film a priest tries to rape a a lady devotee inside temple premises. will any priestthat too in good olden days do like this? only polluted minds will write this sort of stories. will Mr. karunanidhi have the courage to write a story with a mullah or a bishop as a villian?

in the film the priest is attacked by an anti social. the priest is injured. the anti social is produced before court. he not only admits that he had hit the priest, but justifies the attack and refuses to apologies. the judge releases him with very little punishment.it later turns out that the judge is the own blood brother of the anti social. but nobody including the priest objects to that. can a judge pronounce a judgement when his own brother is accused?what sort of impartility will be in that judgement? Dr(!) karunanidhi seems to be ignorant about these judicial principles. some people quite rightly call shady judges as 'parasakthi' judges!

It Is Very Unforunate And Surprising To See That The Supreme Court Has Upheld Caste Based Reservations Even In Promotions.inthe Original Constitution, There Was Reservation Only For Sc/st And That Too Only For 1o Yrs. Thanks To The Judges The Reservations Have Been Extended Permanently And Increased To Almost More Than 70%. All This Even When Constitution Says That Everybody Is Equal Before Law. It Seems For The Indian Judges Sc, St & Bc Are More Equal Than Others.

Similarly The Constitution Gives Many Benefits For Religious Minorities But It Does Not Specify Who Is A Minority. There Are May States Were Hindus Are In A Minority Even Though Technically Hindus Are In A Majority In India. In Jammu Kashmir,muslims Who Form The Majority Are Enjoying Benefits In The Name Of 'minority' Whereas Hindus Who Form The Real Minority Do Not Have Any Benefits At All. Why Are The Judges Not Bothered About This Foolishness?

SIR- Its is shocking to see that indian president dr. abdul kalam is considering clemency for afzal a criminal terrorist who masterminded attack on indian parliament in dec.2001 in whcich 10 soldiers were killed. as far as know clemency is reasonable if a person who has committed a crime expresses regret, apologises and promises to repent. but here afzal has NOT SOUGHT CLEMENCY FOR HIMSELF. Then how can dr. kalam consider the mercy petition on the excuse that his family members have sought clemency.it will be a dangerous precedent. i think clemency powers for president & governors should be removed just like caste based reservations

Another Irony In The Afzal Clemency Case Is That Not Only By Indian Law, But Even According To The Harsh, outdated, arabian Islamic Laws Afzal Has To Be Punished To Death For His Terrorist Acts. SIR - a statue of the so called periyar was smeared with sandal by some persons in t.nadu a few days back. the chief minister m.karunanidhi retorted inthe assembly that the persons who did this were pigs. the person who did this was arrested and jailed. now we all know that sandal is considered to be divine by hindus. smearing a statue of a person like ramasamy periyar with sandal is an insult not to the so called periyar but to SANDAL & HINDUS who consider sandal as sacred. right ?

the cheif minister also warned a minister who had met the KANCHI ACHARYA by saying that the minster should not have met an accused. but the chief minster's own son azhagiri is an accused in the Tha.Krishnan murder case. the father of an accused 'advises' his junior not to mingle with accuseds! what an irony!!

senior dmk minster anbazhagan has said his original name is ramaiah but he changed it to anbazhagan because he considers Lord Ram as an insult to dravidians. in that case how did he align with the bjp so many times- a party which has building a ram temple in ayodhya as its main agenda? or may be because of old age anbazhagan has forgotten about this alliance with bjp?

SIR - Recently a tamil magazine ananda vikatan whose founder s.s.vasan was a stooge of the so called periyar, had published a cover story defaming father of india Mahatma Gandhi. The story glorifies the periyar, who it says had forecast to gandhiji that gandhiji would be killed by a brahmin! actually it was Mahatma who warned the periyar against advocating caste based quotas. the mahatma said and rightly so that in a country where more than 95% of the population lived in villages(in those days) ignoring the rural areas and bringing caste reservations in public life which would benefit only the 5% urban indians was dangerous. it would lead to neglect of villages and people from villages would flock to urban areas leading to congestion. because most of govt. sector, educational instiutions, big private sector would be based in urban areas. investing huge amounts in these would lead to little or no amount for village development. bur the periyar was more worried about 5% urbans and he continued insisting on caste based quotas. more than95% indians who lived in rural areas and thus were not dependent on caste quotas in public life were not important for the periyar at all. ironically what gandhiji said became true later. caste quotas led to development of govt. sector, educational insttutes in urban areas and rural areas were totally neglected. so people moved from villages to big cities like chennai because there were jobsand quotas for them in these cities. this led to all round congestion. it culminated in the dmk govt. recently announing formation of a satellite city near chennai. but the plan was aborted by the dmk's own ally pmk's violent opposition.

the periyar also called for proportional quotas. that is each caste should get jobs in govt. sector corresponding to its population.fortunately this foolish move was also opposed by gandhiji and never implemented. had it been implemented the population of india would have been almost double of what it is now. family planning would have been a total failure.because each and every caste would have been encouraged to increase its population so that it gets more representation ingovt. sector.

i think everybody should condemn the abusive language used by DK against judges who gave their verdict in the quota case recently. the DK has never believed in democracy, decency or decorum. it s surprising that no govt. at state or centre has thought about banning this anti national outfit.

SIR - the pro dmk tamil journal ananda vikatan recently published a cover story mentioning that the periyar warned gandhiji that gandhiji would be killed by a brahmin!! why did not the so called periyar warn karunanidhi not to open liquor shops in 1971 ?

a needless debate is going on in t.nadu about the film on the periyar. i think satyaraj is the right choice for playing the periyar, because like the periyar satyaraj has also got a casanova image. my next choice would be kamalahaasa. both kamalahaasa and satyaraaja have playboy images & cowboy behaviours. kamalahaasa and satyaraaja have acted in many films with double meaning dialogues,filthy dance movements, vulgar songs, nauseating violence etc.
vamp kushboo who abused women and said there is no need for chastity for women is the playing the role of the 'maniyammai' the 2nd(?) wife(!) of the periyar. But will the film tell us why the periyar acted as a cohort of the british? let us see

SIR - Pornographic painter M.F. Hussain always paints hindu gods and godesses nude and naked. he justifies it by saying that this is 'art'. will he then paint his mother naked? after all that is also art? if he paints the periyar nude will his followers(?) in t.nadu keep quiet?

In a recent issue of ananda vikatan rational(?) writer 'Gnani' says the periyar was a playboy and cowboy in his early life as he himself accepted on various occassions. he was a regular visitor to brothels during those days.It is said his father warned him to mend his ways or else threatened to transfer all his property and assets to orphanages. left with no choice, the periyar half heartedly joined congress. he took part in some anti british agitations without any involvement just to prove to his father that he has changed. however as the freedom movement intensified, the british let loose more severe repressive measures on congressmen. the periyar had to leave the congress to escape british repression. so he used gandhiji's refusal to accept caste quotas as an excuse and left the congress. from then he became an agent of the british so much so that even when the british had to quit india in 1947 the periyar called it a SAD DAY!!

The periyar always used to boast that he was fighting for the rights of the majority i.e.non brahmins. but as gandhiji rightly said the periyar's ideas had relevance only for a miniscule minority in india - 5% urban indians. 95% of indians who lived in villages had no need for caste quotas at all as they were dependent on agriculture and other rural professions.

Moreover nowhere the indian constitution meniones that the right to become a graduate or MLA or MP or Doctor or enginner or govt.servant is a fundamental right. so there is no need for caste quotas in public life to ensure representation for various communities in various forums. another point. as we all know, for so many years, all over india, the population of brahmins has been decreasing day by day, where as population of non brahmins has ben increasing above national average due to caste quotas. caste quotas encourage people to increase their numbers so that they can demand more benefits in govt. jobs.

SIR - Will the followers(?) of the so called periyar answer the following questions :

what sort of 'rationality' is it to abuse hinduism and at the same time declare yourselves as a hindu to avail quotas in govt jobs?

what sort of rationality is it to abuse brahmins and yet avail quotas in govt jobs formed out of tax payers money- which contains brahmins' money also?

what sort of rationality is it for DMK i to form a govt. in 1989 even though they got only 30% of the popular vote?

what sort of rationality is it for Mr. Karunanidhi to abuse fire walking as barbaric and yet not ban the practice inspite of having powers to do so?

india had, has and will be having one of the largest population growth in the world. what sort of rationality is it to introduce caste quotas when already population is booming at an alarming rate? will it not encourage people to have large families so that increased numbers means increase in quotas also?

will it not discourage rural economy? wll it not force people to migrate to urban areas in search of more jobs? will it not lead to more congestion all over? will it not discourage merit? will it not bring disinterested persons inside?A meritorious man from forward community is rejected,but a woman from a reserved caste is awarded job. what sort of rationality is this?

the periyar says islam& christianity guarantee equal rights for all. but islam says anybody who does not accept the prophet's teachings is a sudra. christianity says anybody who does not accept the jesus's teachings is a sudra. hinduism discovered that non vegeteranism is against natural living and so it branded any non veggie (even if he s a brahmin) as a sudra. the periyar accepts beliefs of foreign religions, but he will not respect discoveries of indian religion! what sort of rationality is it?

SIR - I strongly condemn the insult to india's national song vande mataram. pseudo intellect n.ram, editor of hindu says vande mataram propagates hinduism so it should be opposed. Mr.Karunanidhi's DMK govt. which imposed Tamil in orthodox temples a few years back now says it is not compulsory for muslims to render vande mataram- even though consitution accords it the status of national song. sonia maina gandhi who earlier boycotted a function to honour freedom fighter veer savarkar boycotted a function recently to avoid rendering vande mataram. it is unfortunate that persons like these who have no respect for indian culture and constitution enjoy the support of so many people.

SIR the apologists of caste quotas argue that reservations are necessary for people who had 'suffered' 'discrimination' for centuries. but even indian constitution in its original form guarantess quotas only for sc/st (not for bc) and that too only for 10 years. if the 'discrimination for centuries' allegation if true the founding fathers of indian constitution would have given quotas for a very very long period.

the dmk chief minister Mr. Karunanidhi always boasts that his govt is following ideals of the periyar. IN india a govt.has to be necessarily secular. and secularism means no place in govt. for both religion & anti-religion.how can a govt. which follows(?) the periyar's anti religious vomits be called secular or democratic.

in 1965 there were violent, uncivilised barbaric agitations against hindi in t.nadu. the agitations were instigated by dmk- mainly Mr. Karunanidhi & Late Anna. many criminal cases were filed against many dmk functionaries for damaging public and private property worth crores of rupees. however after coming to power in 1967, the dmk govt.let by Late Anna wihdrew all the cases against all the criminals. not only that they were given pension for life time for 'fighting' for tamil!some of them were even conferred IAS just for taking part in an illegal agitation. similarly in 1988 the pmk organised a violent agitation all over t.nadu damaging private, public property worth crores. but after coming to power by getting 33% of popular votes in 1989, the then dmk govt. let by Karunanidhi not only withdrew all the cases against pmk criminals, they were also given lifetime pension for fighting for 'social justice'!!
The problem with MK is that he is a very good follower. but not a good leader. a leader is a person who leads. but MK on many occassions has taken decisions publicly only to backtrack under pressure later- the latest being his somersault on the satellite town issue.

Here is an imagination as to what will happen if Mr. Karunanidhi becomes chairman of indian cricket association -

500% quota for sc/st, 5000% quota for bc & 50000% quota for muslims in indian cricket team.

ranji troply to be renamed as periyar trophy
duleep troply to be renamed anna trophy.
liquor shops to be opened in all stadiums for benefit of players & specatators.
all those who support Karunanidhi in cricket board elections will be given free color tv, free land,free gas etc. from funds of cricket board.

SIR - The dmk govt. of Mr. karunanidhi imposedtamil compulsorily in orthodox sanskrit temples a few years back. karunanidhi retorted that gods who do not undrstand tamil have no place in t.nadu does that mean that -

many blind tamils who cannot see tamil should be chased out?
many deaf tamils who cannot hear tamil shoud be chased also?
many dumb tamils who cannot speak tamil should be chased too?
many illiterate tamils who cannot read and write tamil should be chased too?
many mentally challenged tamils who cannot appreciate tamil should be chased too?
what about muslims in dmk who have arabic name like rahmankhan etc.?
will they be chased out of dmk if not out of t.nadu?

SIR i fully agree with the pope's accusation that islam spread through sword. but what about christianity? christianity spread through fraudulent conversions, money power, abuse of other religions etc. is this civilized means of spreading a religion. the pope should keep his toilet clean before blaming others.

islam altered the demographic pattern of many countries including india. brahmins were in a huge majority in india when islam invaded india. brahmins were killed,raped, forcibly converted and reduced to a minority. islam became the majority religion by use of barbaric force. there was no mass untouchability in india before islamic invasion. because there were no nonvegeteranians. since it was discovered that eating animal flesh was barbaric, uncivilised and against natural ways, vegeteranism became the norm. but islamic rulers introduced non vegeteranism. since the rulers started eating meat,many countrymen also followed suit. since this was against established accepted facts, the non veggies were branded untouchables. thus started the evil of untouchability which continues even today.islam has conflicts with science also. islam says dogs and pigs are dirty. but science says dogs and pigs are intelligent and friends of mankind.islam forbids alcohol totally. but allopathic medicines have alcohol contents in it. islam bans charging of interest. but interest forms the oxygen of economics. islam bans idol workship but insists on a particular form of construction for mosques alone. this s a contradiction. if god should not have any form at all, why the place where god is worshipped should have any form? for more information on islam's problems with science, please refer THE WORLD OF FATWAS BY DR.ARUN SHOURIE.

Also the main reason why buddhism was a dismal flop in india was because buddha did not condemn meat eating in any form. since most of buddhas followers were meat eaters, to retain their support the buddha maintained a stonic silence on meat eating. this led to the expulsionof buddhism from india. many buddhists world over are ardentmeat eaters. this from a religion which preaches(?) non violence.

jainism failed in india because of impractical conditions. bhagwan mahaveera said humanbeings should not wear clothes at all!! jains continue to charge inhuman rate of interest on loans and thrive on that .all this in a religion which considers even wearing clothes a sin!!

I fail to understand sir what is the link between Tamil in temples with Italian flags in cricket stadium.

Few of the good things this DMK govt. has done is giving an option to worship in Tamil. It is ridiculous to say that tamil has been given a honour that sanskrit slogas are written in Tamil.

But in fact we should say Sanskrit is given an honour to stay alive with the help of Tamil. What is wrong if Tamil is used in place of the already extinct sanskrit in temples.

There can be apathy against DMK and MK but i dont like stooping so low to say MK would punish anyone who carries Indian flag. Agreed MK does not have the guts to question muslims but two wrongs cannot make things correct. MK did not say he would throw out people who dont have Tamil names. In fact even MK's name is a sanskrit name. Hope we dont stoop too low and spew venom at people whom we dont like.

Also the main reason why buddhism was a dismal flop in india was because buddha did not condemn meat eating in any form. since most of buddhas followers were meat eaters, to retain their support the buddha maintained a stonic silence on meat eating. this led to the expulsionof buddhism from india. many buddhists world over are ardentmeat eaters. this from a religion which preaches(?) non violence.

More than 50000 people converted to Buddhism last week from hinduism. So Mr. suresh why is Hinduism failing ? I dont think Dalai lama is pumping any money.

SIR - Hinduism considers non vegeteranism as a sin - against natural way life . but buddhism allows you to eat cow, calf, pig anything. so hindu non vegeteranians convert to buddhism. buddhism is actually not a religion at all. its only a way of life. there is no god in buddhism. the buddha who lectured much on non violence never openly condemned meat eating because most of his followers(?) were meat eaters.to retain their supprt he shut his mouth and refused to condemn meat eating .that is why buddhism flopped in india totally. just because 50000 people adapt buddhish it will not flourish .tomorrow if hinduism allows meat eating, all this 50000 will come back to hindusm again!!
