Normally these type of mosquitoes do not like old blood as they have to work very hard to extract blood from old people; they prefer young kids, most preferred is young girls!! ( because they normally do not swat ) ; they avoid rude looking guys!!

truly her blood must be sweet enough for these mosquitoes to attack in droves. strangely they leave my mil alone

Why mosquitoes like a particular type of Blood?

Here is a possible answer.

“About 20 percent of the people are actually 'tastier' to mosquitoes, or tend to attract them more readily than others and it may be tied to blood type," said Dr. Gene Kritsky, Professor of Biology at The College of Mount St. Joseph. "Studies have indicated that Type O blood may be more attractive or beneficial to mosquitoes than the other blood types, and about 85 percent of us actually secrete chemicals in our sweat that tells the mosquito what our blood type is.”


Most of the Tri-State has Type O blood, but not everyone secretes those chemicals. So just because you’re Type O, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll get more bites.


“It’s well known in Africa that individuals of certain blood types are either resistant or susceptible to malaria and that’s been known for a long time. So, the fact that a study was done where it was shown that an individual of group 'O' are more susceptible to mosquito bites, is not surprising," said Dr. Ronald Sacher, Director of Hoxworth Blood Center at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

i used to have a cousin. the family is known to be tight with their money.

so they had one pattu vathiar to come home to teach the daughter. the son, used to sit in the next room, hear and learn (very smart guy, went to iit, phd from stanford, dot com millionaire, ex sr vp of cisco and all that). he now a music critique too in his spare time, all due to free loading on pattu classes from his sister.

i think, raji should ensure that the students dont carry taping devices, and take home, and do classes in turn, with raji's lessons

75 cassettes ? this is highway robbery. people here get upset when i use the term 'paappaan budhi'. only our community does this. i know quite a few others, and no one treats their own like this.

reminds me of a relative..who whenever he visited from india, and stayed in his child's house, used to come to ours, and make long distance calls to india and all over the world. we prove right to the adage, that suckers are born every minute....riles me when i think of how much i have beenhad too .
