The Blow and the Glow.

There was this strange fellow,
A moment of peace will not allow;

Inside, he was a person yellow,
And his love was very shallow;

He made his loyal wife swallow,
Insults streaming out in a flow;

Age should have made him mellow,
But it did in fact add to his bellow;

His wit would work very slow,
He loved to hit, her belt below;

He would his routine follow,
A bachelor’s life all aglow;

He would tell his loyal wife,
“Mother of five! Enjoy life!”

The wife had got tired and sick,
Thought it was time to hit back;

“Oh dear Father of three!
Go and enjoy Scot free!”

Now that was a real blow,
Too big for him to swallow!

He came to senses, bent low,
Never again left his bungalow.

But sometimes there might be a marriage with love but yet one may desire more than one supplier of love..after all Love is never enough and falling in love over again and again is not a crime.

I have heard some mAmis lament, 'ennaith thavira vERa yAr indha manushanOda iththana varusham kuppai kottuvA?' :blah:

I bet the mama has something similar to declare.
The reason for their staying together for 'kuppai kottufying...'
They are truly made to order for each other!

My elder son and his bride gave away small memento tumblers
( more like tequila glasses) to everyone who attended their wedding.

The quote by Albert Einstein inscribed on them goes thus...
"Gravity cannot be held responsible for people falling in love".

And taking of tequila reminds me of my favorite picturesque speech,

Nine lives…!

It saw its food in the bowl,
Its face turned into a scowl;

There was a fat plump fowl,
Sitting on top of the cowl;

Joy appeared on its jowl,
It wished to give out a howl;

Like its cousin on its prowl,
