I am Rishikesan in this forum for long time , though not categorized as Veteran, I am active member, reading all the Postings, Iread some of them intently. I am 83 yeas old ,living in Kodambakkam ,Chennai for last 20 years, after retiring from Ordnance factories ( I.O.F.S )
from Gun carriage factory, Jabalpur in 1991
This Forum was formed by Mr. Praveen, living in Ambattur , Chennai. Existing members are all learned & do contribute a lot by way of posting News / information of local/India/ International , lot of information on Spirituality , as well.
I am always tempted to analyse the life of Tamil Brahmins past/ present / those youths/ ladies settling in U.S. by virtue of I.T. , earning handsome Salary , which has caused the Parents at home country/ Tamil Nadu/& Standard of living has reached great levels of which, we, all, Tamil brahmins could genuinely proud. One thing more. Parents are not left alone All parents of these youths/ young women are having wonderful life, by vising U.S and get the taste of all luxurious entertainments & also enjoy the pleasure of fondling their grand children & take pleasure in discussing about their children with all those who also had the opportunity to visit U.S.
Note :- I appeal to all the New members coming to this Forum, to think of formulating Ideas, & evolve fresh ideas as to how to get all the upcoming enthusiastic men/women in India & U.S. to start a workable scheme as a Chain to ensure involving All ,for the inclusive benefit of each Brahmin, so that, they in turn continue & improve such schemes .

Dear Mr Praveen, I have been appealing to you as the Leader & all Veterans , on the same lines as mentioned above. Veterans like Krish 44 7 the team of veterans are the BACK-Bone of this forum
Can you have a Video conference & get the ideas of Veterans & make a start. Then the new , up coming New members can be tuned to Follow. Please do not discourage my repeated suggestions at the infant stage & allow it to take some shape.

Let us give 3 to 6 months time, say upto 31/12/ 2016, & then Review .

Sincerely,
Rishikesan ( A. Srinivasan )

I am Rishikesan in this forum for long time , though not categorized as Veteran, I am active member, .........
You will soon be a veteran, Rishi Sir. :)

Right now, you are a senior member (500 posts + in forum) and once you finish 1000 posts, you will be a veteran. :thumb:

But 'veteran' image is there in your 'achievements', since you a member in forum for more than 3 years.

Even if a member is silent for 3 years, the achievement is 'veteran'; hence we find some newbies who achieve this!

Dear V.K. swamy 84
Noted the brief about you . You would be the person , who could take a lead , for my proposals. , since you have mentioned that you are most attached to our community.
My colleague , Mr. T.S. Viswanathan belonged to Varahoor (I think there is a Perumal temple there)
He worked with me in Ordnance Factories for 30 years Hen lived in Trichy with parents He is no more.
Can we develop regular contacts ?

dear Ananth Narayan good introduction. Thanks
but you never or any where stated that, you are more of Indian, know very well of Indian Brhmin culture, you are quoting more on USA, Moreover I can you expect Indian girl for foreign settle person, please do not think otherwise, their life will more difficult, better you can bride in USA itself, there are chance that, the foreign settle person will be more comfortable leading life, nad they easily forget mother land.

Dear Sir

Thanks. but pleae note, a person spends more than 2 years are called non residents as per Indian Law, at the same time a persone settleed more than 365 days in Foregn soil does not called a Brahmins. Because
1. They will not doing the Nithya Karma- Sandya vandam
2. They will giving amavasya tarpanam to thier eleders or parents
3. They will be doing Annual thithi for their eleders or parents,
4. They will not chanting mantras, vedas etc, so now you are not Brahmin.

Dear Sir

i am get and extend help to those who love their Mother land, and do their all activities in Mother land, get Marry in Mother land and those who respect their parents, and settle in Mother land India or BHARATHM

Thanks sir

Why you childerns are in US, why Our Mother land not comfortable to them or they find difficulty in our culture. Or whether Indian does not have capacity to feed them, please give them smell/flavor/ sweetnesss of Indian Culture and
ask them to settle in India
