Dear All,

I'm from New Delhi and recently while looking for translation of Vinayagar Agaval , I came to know about this site.
My interests are very much to learn more about our Samskaras and Veda, and follow the posts updated by learned members in such forums.
Thank you for accepting my registration.

Welcome to all new members :)

Glad to have you with us and look forward to wonderful contributions from all.

My humble namaskarams to the elders and well wishes to the youngsters.
I am Raghy. I live in Brisbane. I am very glad I found this forum. I will possibly be more active from 15th November ( I would hopefully complete all my assignments etc. by that time and almost complete my Bachelor's degree. Actually,I should not be here; should be writing my assignment. But this forum is too tempting not to join as soon as I saw about the forum). I am an atheist ( I know I will have many eye brows raised). But, I became an atheist after understanding Srimad Bhagavat Gita in the context of my own life. That's a short note about myself.
Raghy.

Namaskaram

My name is venkatasubramanian son of late s.viswanatha sivachariyar. Born in a `gurukkal' family I wished to lead a life as a `gurukkal' but now I am working as a journalist for a leading newspaper. However, I always remain in touch with my relatives who continue our hereditary profession. Further, being born as a member of proud brahmin community I wish to maintain my identity as Brahmin and wish my children follow the same path.
I came to know about this site while searching the net for some other topic. I thought I should get in touch with others who also feel proud of being a Brahmin and want to preserve our culture and tradition.
thanks
vvs
