Thank you very much for having obliged me with an entry to your fold. After completing a 42 year service in RBI I retired in 1996 and have just completed my 74 years of age.
Right from my boy-hood days I have been keen in seeing science in Vedanta. This drove me to take up serious self study of meta-physics, computer science, and other allied subjects like micro-biology etc. Having born in a Deekshitar family I was engaged in archanavruthi (Gurukkal) prior to my appointment in the RBI. During the major part of my banking career I was confined to banking but towards the fag end I was in charge of a Computer Division of the Exchange Control Dept. of the Bank. In that capacity I had the opportunity to design and implement a wide-area network connecting various commercial banks all over the country with the RBI server, develop in-house software etc.
AI was an active member (member of the Central Committee) of the Chinmaya Mission. I was also associated with the Theosophical Society (Madam Blavatsky). I had also completed my vedantic study in Shankara Mutt Bangalore. I was born and brought up in Bangalore and came to Mumbai in 1981 and am spending my reitred life here.
I was a keen in electronics and Ham Radio and had good experience in setting up and working HAM Radio Station.
I was very much interested in flying and have a solo Glider Pilot License. Had put in lot of flying hours completing duration and cross-country flying.
After my retirement I had small business of assembling and marketing computers, home-theater systems et.
Now I am looking after a small ice cream business.
Writing small articles holds my interest at present. I hope to look forward for encouragement, and support in my present endeavor from this organization.
