Greetings:

I am Dr. Sudhir from Coimbatore, and I am happy to see we have a common website where all Brahmins can interact with each other. I would be pleased if we could have a list of brahmin priests, brahmin cooks and such people who are required for special occasions, in coimbatore and chennai.

All the best.
Dr.Sudhirs suggestion is welcome.
I have the followimg suggestion.
2.Sudhir wants a directory of hindu religious practitioners from cooks to priests.
3.now there is no approved school for such facilities.all practitioners are self styled unwillingly approved by community.
4.its time we start thinking of starting hindu religious practitioners course for all religious practices from prayogam to cooking for different sampradayas, conduct exams ,register them as approved practitioners.[PRESENT PATASALAS ARE NOT FOR IT]
5.till that we can engage present priests, cooks but insist on taking exams for approval for priesthood.
6.later it will become honorable profession like legal, medical, engg, teacher etc. without stigma attached.
Lets get broad opinion of our fellow hindus[bramins]

Dear all,

My name is Ramasubramanian.L born and brought up in Kerala - Trivandrum and presently working in Bangalore. I have a son (5 yrs) and daughter (7 yrs).

I am proud to be a brahmin.

I am gald to join the tamilbrahmins.com group. It is good to note that we have a common platform to share/exchange our views.

We can think of developing a central office with branch offices (can be residences) across for the wealfare/address the issue of brahmin community.

We should think of developing a databse of priests address and telephone numbers for the benefit of members.

I suggest to have a database of priests across for the benefit of the members.

I am happy to be a part of tamilbrahmins com group

Regards
Ramasubramanian.L

Dear Members

Namaskarams.

I am VENKATRAMAN MANIKAM living in Chennai, working for a Central PSU. I belong to Telugu Brahmin Community with subsect velnaadu. I am new to this site. Activities like Naveena Swayamvaram for Brahmin community are nice to hear. I feel this is high time to work for the development and improvement of our Brahmin community which is spread worldwide, especially in India and Tamil Nadu in particular. Suppression of Brahmin community in Tamil nadu is painful and to be eradicated.

I have referred this Naveena Swayamvaram information to some of my Brahmin friends, who are in search of varan for their wards.

Though I belong to Telugu Brahmin community, I live in Chennai for quite long time in Tamil Nadu like thousands of Telugu Brahmins here and I am more familiar with Tamil than Telugu. I hope members of TamilBrahmins.com will interact.

I can be reached through [email protected].

Regards.

Namasthe to all. I am C.A. Rajasekar learnt first vocal lessons at the age of four from my father Chittoor Shri Appanna Bagavathir. It was soon followed by violin lessons under the watchful eyes of his illustrious father. He played along with his father from an early age at the latter’s performances.
To further hone his skills, he had been under the tutelage of the distinguished violinist Sangeetha Kalanidhi Shri. M.Chandrasekaran and had also undergone lessons from Shri V.S.Narasimhan for a broader understanding and appreciation of western classical genre.

Shri C.A.Rajasekar, also known as the backbone of CARVA Trust, received the “Isaikalaimani” title from Adyar Music College. Not the one to stop there, he proceeded to complete his M. A in Indian music and was awarded a Gold Medal by the University of Madras. He also completed his M.Phil at the University of Madras. Here, his final thesis explored different violin teaching methodologies, particularly, his unique teaching methodology. To know more about CARVA RAJASEKAR please log in to http://carajasekar.blogspot.com.

VTVs fear is well founded.
1.fading of joint family system is good for all in present juncture wherein liberalisation is taking upper hand .
old age homes are good for communal hormony.
since younger generation has lot of freedom and low tolerance level its better not to expose their bad traits by forcing joint family.
1.reg marriage , now its far better because youngsters have maturity in selecting spouses.no business like olden days
